      which airline you are travel with? Terminal change is not the problem with the luggage that you are carrying. If it is single PNR flight that should nt be a problem but if it is a different PNR ticket then apply for a singapore visa. There is no transit visa available. Contact your airlines as well for the clarification

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  Před 5 měsíci

      Terminal 0 means that no terminal has been assigned to the flight and that will be done later or when you are issued a boarding pass or you may check your flight status later and that must reflect a terminal. Regarding single PNR and same airlines flight you immigration clearance/visa is not required. But do take confirmation from the airlines to verify the information.

      it depends if you have booked your flight itinerary on the single PNR or different. if it is on different PNR or different airlines then you are required to clear the immigration in Singapore. But in your case you have same airlines but still check if it is on the single PNR or not. Also see if your ticket says "self transfer required" There is no transit visa in the case of Singapore it is only the singapore evisa that you can avail.

      as long as you remain in the transit hall and do not want to explore the city you re not required to have any visa. Secondly, if you have booked your flight on different PNRs then you need a visa to clear the immigration. So see your flight bookings and check if you have a single PNR flight or different PNRs.

      if you are going to book a separate PNR or booking then you will require Singapore visa. For instance, India-Singapore-China, the flight from Singapore to China is separately booked as a different PNR then visa is applicable because you may have to clear the immigration. Well for Vistara the flights land at Terminal 3 at Changi and in some case it can be terminal 2 as well. It depends where your scoot flight will depart from. Usually, you are not required to clear the immigration or need a visa. Please contact vistara/scoot airlines to double check. Scoot has transfer or transit arrangement with the Changi airport so in most of the cases you should not be asked to clear the immigration.

      I am posting another video too next week. If two airlines have the transfer arrangement then visa is not need and they are responsible for the luggage transfers. However, I would say that you speak to another agent of your airlines and recheck because what I see is that you have a different PNR and usually we have to cross the immigration and have visa. I had a different PNR flight recently from Taiwan- Hong Kong - Delhi and I had to clear the immigration to procure the immigration slip- the so call entry permit in the case of Hong Kong. But definitely, in the case of Singapore a many airlines have the transfer arrangement between them. So call them once again and speak to a different agent.

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  Před rokem

      If there are only 3 hours of layover in Singapore and you are not going to clear the immigration, and remain in the transit hall of the airport, then no need to worry about the PCR report. Because in that case the airport or airlines would only check whether you are meeting the entry requirements of your final destination or not. It is true that you are not required to be vaccinated to enter Thailand. Therefore, a PCR test is not required and the airlines you are traveling with must not ask for it.
      The report is required in case you are entering the city. That's where would have to meet the Singapore Entry requirements.

      If your flight is on the same PNR than baggage transfer responsibility lies in the hands of the airlines, that means we dont have to change the flight or clear the immigration to catch the next flight. The problem of clearing the immigration comes when we book a flight through a low budget carrier. Secondly, Jewel Changi must be easily accessible to you.

Where I'll be changing my flight from Air India to Jet star air i.e. from Terminal 2 to terminal 4 while return too also there are 2 different PNR's generated for each flight. Can you please let me know If I require a Transit Visa ? if Yes then how can I buy that online also Can I visit the Jewel waterfall? and can I utilize my 9hrs layover by roaming around nearby tour something by applying VISA ?

You can also check with the airport counter for available space on the next flight. Additionally, Singapore Airlines offers a flexible fare policy that allows you to change your travel dates or routes without incurring additional charges. But still call them, they should also arrange your stay. Things have changed since covid so it better to check once with them.

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  Před rokem

      Thanks for enjoying the video,
      It actually depends upon the airlines you are traveling with while returning to India. Some airlines have transfer arrangement with the airport, so you luggage will not be your responsibility to collect except the hand luggage while check-in. You do not have to clear the immigration or have Singapore visa.
      In other cases, you have to collector your luggage and proceed towards the transit hall without clearing the immigration or Singapore visa
      So to conclude, we need to check with the airlines if we are required to clear the immigration or not. But ideally that should not be the case. You can collect your baggage and move towards check in area and clear the immigration for your onward journey back to India. So, please contact the airlines and verify the same.
      To presume, if that's going to be the Singapore airlines then you do not require Singapore visa to clear the immigration. They should have the arrangement but again you will have to collect your baggage from Sydney-Singapore flight.

    Hi,
    So if someone is travelling from Bali to Delhi with a 6.5 hours layover at Singapore.
    Both the airlines are different
    DPS-SIN is Jet Star Asia airways
    SIN-DEL is Air India
    So in this case is a transit visa required at Singapore, because of different airlines, I’m assuming baggage transfer won’t happen directly and would have to be rechecked in.
    Please let me know, thanks.

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  Před rokem +2

      See it depends, which terminal the Jet Star flight will depart from. Usually, these airlines have transfer/transit arrangements with Changi airport so that being said yo are not required to clear the immigration to catch your next flight but yes baggage transfer will not happen and you might have to re-checkin. Ideally, to qualify for the transit without immigration you should have your itinerary booked under the same PNR. There are designated counters at the airport to collect your boarding pass for the next flight.
      Jetstar operates from T4 Singapore Changi Airport as far I know.
      If you need to transfer between Terminal 4 and other terminals, you can use the complimentary public shuttle bus service provided by Changi Airport.
      I would recommend you that you also contact your airlines to confirm if they have transit facility at the airport.

    • @akshatsati2282
      @akshatsati2282 Před rokem +1

       Thank you for this information.
      Yes the booking is under the same PNR
      Will be landing in changi airport terminal 4, through jetstar and after a 6.5 hour layover the next flight, Air India, is from terminal 2.
      So since baggage transfer might not happen and re-checkin would be required, does that happen within transit area of the terminals ?

    Do we need a transit visa to transit among terminals? I am travelling with family from India to Bali via Changi at T1 and have to catch flight at T4. We have tickets with different PNR. Will I be needing transit visa, as I carry only cabin luggage?

    • @TRAVELMANTODAY
      @TRAVELMANTODAY  Před rokem +1

      Dear, As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, if you are transiting through Changi Airport in Singapore and you hold a valid Indian passport, you generally do not need a transit visa if you are staying within the transit area and have onward tickets to your final destination.
      In regards to your situation, transiting from Terminal 1 (T1) to Terminal 4 (T4) within Changi Airport, you should not require a transit visa as long as you remain within the transit area and do not pass through immigration control. Since you have tickets with different PNRs and are only carrying cabin luggage, you should be able to transit without the need for a transit visa.
      Nevertheless, it is advisable to confirm this information with the airline you are traveling with or the relevant authorities to ensure a smooth transit experience. They will have the most accurate and updated information regarding transit procedures and any visa requirements.
      Please note that it is always a good practice to have ample transit time between flights to account for any unforeseen delays or changes in flight schedules. This will help ensure a stress-free and smooth transit experience for you and your family.
      Safe travels to Bali, and enjoy your trip!

      @@nishantsarangdhar9510 Well, let's understand this way. If your final destination flight does not have any transfer arrangement with the Changi Airport then you would need to cross the immigration otherwise. Usually, you do not cross the immigration at Changi during transfers or transits. Therefore, we need to check with the airline's customer care if they have any transfer arrangements or not with the airport, and if not then a visa may be required.
