I completely agree with her. I have told people that one of the reasons our society has crumbled so badly is because of the teaching of self esteem. How can you come to the knowledge that you need forgiveness if you think you are amazing and perfect just the way you are?

Great episode. They get better. A real blessing. Practical application. The guest was very well spoken. The all communicated well. Great way to end my Sunday. Phil keeps it direct and simple.They all had a role in body of Christ in this podcast.

@Free Thinker perfect love cast out all fear. When you receive Christ and get filled with the holy spirit it will blow your mind. I have gone through tough times but had peace at the same time. With out having a holy spirit it is like explaining a beautiful picture with awesome colors to a blind person who in there blindness will never bridge the gap and fully understand what is in the picture. You have up till now done it your way. What do you have to lose by choosing to follow Christ?

Phil that scripture you just gave of the Lord choosing the lowly things to confound the wise, God gave me that scripture 2 years ago about a battle I was going through with really really "mean christian's" ❤👏 gave me chills when you read it!

God is with us always. Having an Out of Body experience with him when I was 19 proves to me he is here. There is nobody on this earth that can tell me he doesn’t exist...He does. Maybe you can’t see him, but he is here. One way I have always taught others it you have to have a strong Faith in him and his workings. Just because you can’t see him doesn’t mean he isn’t there. Can you see the Wind? No, but you know it’s there. Thank You for providing these teachings they have been shared by me many of times. Bless you and your family always.
Another great Bible study hour. I for one like the new digs. I kinda feel more comfortable in the lear. Love that y'all are having guest outside the family. Love seeing family to. try not to idolize them. It seems a lot of people comment this looking for them to respond. All you need is someone to baptize you anywhere there is water. The real baptism is inside-spiritual. Water baptism is simbolic and a way for you to confess your faith.

Phil, we need someone like you, to lead us in a grass-roots nationwide movement, a stand for freedom. Pray about it. Maybe God wants you to come out of the woods, for such a time as this.
Maybe we need to stop waiting on someone to lead us, and all stand up at once, let God lead us. That's the only thing that will work, if any man tried that such as Phil the alphabet squad (FBI,CIA,WHO,DEA,FDA,etc) would shut him down so fast, we'd never hear from him again. But also, maybe God wouldn't allow him to be gotten to by them.... IDK something to think about.
He draws his strength from the Word of God and lots of solitude. Remember Phil is a recovering addict, he stays OUT of the city for a good reason!

Love your new addition with Ms. Allie Beth Stuckey! However, you three are plenty enough of laughter, facts, and the truths of God’s Word. In addition, I love your new area for your Podcast. It looks very organized (except for the table). I really like the picture of the Duck Calls. They are so colorful. Do sell a Poster or a picture of them. I would like to get 1 for my 12 yo Grandson to hang up in his room.
In addition, I am anxiously awaiting Phil’s new book! I hope I made it into the group that got signed by him. I really did enjoy Mrs. Stuckey’s comments on the Word of God. Ya’ll ROCK!
Also, Jase mentioned only reading the “RED WORDS” in the Bible. I wrote to you last week, how the Lord impressed upon me to physically take the time to write out the Red Letters in the Bible. That would be me! Be blessed.

Amen brother's. Can't wait to read Allie's book. I've often felt a ✔ in my spirit with the self love stuff when I hear bible teachers talking about it. Because it seems so contradictory to what the Bible actually teaches.

My husband and I baptized two of our four children this summer. The oldest was baptized in the church building a few years back and the youngest is 4, and just not “there” yet, though all of our kids were “dedicated” to the church body as babies, as a pledge the church family would help lead to Jesus.

I second that, I have a 14 year old.
She has said that under 16 a parent might want to read it first or along with. I'm halfway through and a few examples she provided are on the mature side (heavy drinking, sexual promiscuity, disordered eating). I think the topics are totally great to talk about with a 14 year old, but I wouldn't personally leave them to read it entirely independently

'just thought of something when you (Phil) said that some of the homeless preferred to sleep under a bridge. I know they can't have a lot of personal belongings. Do they all have their own Bible either in book or e-form? If not, I would like to contribute to a Bible fund for them. BTW I love your podcast!!

I Recommend this..it's pretty nice.. and I was kinda surprise to get Phil's new book Jesus Politics at Walmart.. and I also saw but did'nt get Sean Hannity's new Book and I was even more surprise to see President Trump large picture book thing on sale.. But I was very surprise in seeing them on they're Shelves.. but I mange gotton to the 2nd Chapter in Phil's book.intresting and keeps getting better and inspiring..
