Not with this car, but the body tends to rust on the rear panel at the bottom and around the petrol tank. Other problems you could face is engine mounts. Entire fuel system must be changed. Make sure you get a clutch that can handle the torque.

Hi Jason, 2jz Bell housing was modified to fit the D4D box. Currently using a Quatermaster twin pack clutch and custom made flywheel. Gearbox doesn't like high boost. It gets repaired alot. Plan is to fit an M3 6 speed box. We have a Corolla in joburg that make make over 1000hp and the box holds. Hope this helps.

Thanks man, just trying to bring SA to the world. Which engine do you have in your car and is it stock turbos? On the turbo side in the guard can work almost like how it is in the skylines for interest sake. With a built enclosure around it could be good placement for the air filter.
Hey Akeel I have a non Vvti 1jzgte with a gtx3076 in an old 55 Holden. Not much room at all man, its been a real challenge. I have friends in Johberg and Mokapane and they tell me this cov is getting bad over there, stay safe bru
Good question Nqobani, if you were to put this engine in a runx you would have to move the firewall back very far to accommodate the engine and move the dash and seating position it could work. However it would be a very custom job as everything would need to be fabricated because a runx was designed for front wheel drive and the 1jz for rear wheel drive. I hope this helps?

@@nqobaningidi4834 only a pleasure man, if you're looking for power and speed and something that easily fits into your runx you look at the 2ZZ-GE engine as it will run the front wheels. Has a nice high rpm limit 8200rpm and can do around 240kph. It will drop into your runx with minor modifications. Motor and gearbox will be needed as well as an updated ECU to handle the Lift. A stainless steel 63mm exhaust system and a nice induction system with a lightened flywheel and stage 1.5 clutch from clutch masters or an exedy clutch and you'll have aot of fun.

If think crown gearbox can handle it your other option is a mk4 supra auto box but I don't know how expensive that is. You could also try the gearbox from a Lexus IS 300 which has an N/A 2JZ.
@@wajahatkhan6968 then your other option is to look at a Cressida gearbox. 21R is the code. That's the manual ones code. Cressida had an automatic version as well for the 3.0liter straight six engine. I don't know the code though. That's as far as my knowledge goes but it could only be a 4 speed automatic.
2jz bottom, 1jz head and that's what the owner said in the video maybe you weren't listening. The type of block always determines the motor. You must listen properly next time and go study yourself.
