I work at a Aged care facility in Australia The clients were watching this DVD in the common lounge room at work yesterday. I came home and watched this concert online. The old songs 1950 & 60's will live on forever beautiful songs to sing along also dance to.
Yes, the most beautiful music, you can hear the words and had rythem to dance to. The country can change and blend but until they come back to this VERY MUSIC , it will not be for everyone, this Music will make a baby want get into the rythem.

Excellent show, I was born in 1945 in England,. Have just viewed this video at age 68. These songs were hits when I was a teenager (+ a bit) The memories sparked off when listening to this music take me back to the best part of my life. This concert is a gem, and I hope it will bring joy to many more people who appreciate good music regardless of their age.

Way back in the mid 90's I had a work assignment in Scotland. Daniel O'Donnell at that time was just becoming famous in Ireland. I was very pleasantly surprised to see his records on sale in most record shops in Scotland. I was told that Daniel was highly regarded by both communities in Scotland. No sectarianism with Daniel. Not only is he a good singer but also is a legendary supporter of his fans, remembering the life stories of his countless fans with a flawless memory for details. The after concert meet and greets with fans are now the stuff of legend.
I could listen to Daniel all day long. Such a beautiful warm voice and I love all of his music!

I think Mary Duff is the most versatile female singer in history. She can sing Patsy Cline, Connie Francis, Cher, Nana Mouskouri, Celine Dion, Dolly Parton, Nancy Sinatra, Loretta Lynn, Rita MacNeil, Barbra Streisand, Petula Clark, Brenda Lee, Judy Collins, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton John, Anne Murray, etc. etc. etc. Daniel O'Donnell owes her a lifetime of thanks.
