I did the street tune on my 2017 ultra limited. It took a good 4-5 runs to get he best tune I could download. The higher rpms are the hardest to tune (5th and 6th gear). I had a long stretch of road to hit those high speeds. I am currently running the wideband HD auto tune module with HD torque cam. Fast enough for me. S&S cam plate oil pump lifters and cuffs.HD adjustable push rods. This combination works well with superior parts.
Great video bud definitely what I was looking for if I could recommend something but using screen recording software as the jiggling is a little disconcerting plus harder to read. But by far this was the best video plus your previous one on this. Couldn’t find anything that claim close
Just an FYI. I have a '21 Road Glide and just downloaded the software for the SE tuner. There are a few things eliminated from the new software. There is no adjustment found for the RPM limit or idle limit. There is no throttle adjustment either.
AZ Triumphster unfortunately now throwing a check engine light after stage 1 upgrade last night! Has anyone else had this? I have installed a slip on muffler but still have the stock air cleaner, maybe that’s causing a problem?
@@tkane435 I did not encounter that, and I wouldn't think ur setup would cause that. See if u can toggle thru on the controls and find the code then look it up. That should help tell u what's going on. U can then clear the code.
So I messed up learning ride cuz I didn’t understand keeping the device connected. On a positive note with just ST 1 just high air flow filter and lied to the device about pipes. I went to pass a truck at 30 ish and strained my arms got mild whip lash. Swear it is like a new cylinder was added. Holy f…. Nice video

I have a 17' softail slim s, and what I've found with the super tuner pro is that its better when you're using genuine se parts due to the base maps software available
Thanks for the video, I did the install and selected the stage one Map I flashed it went out for a ride and my check engine came on. So I set the tuner in the recording mode went out for a run and flashed all the new learned data and clear ECM code did anyone had any issues like this

Great Video !!! I just did the same tuner on my 2017 Road King. Worked, but now I have a check engine light during start up, it goes off after it's running. Can find any bad codes, Runs good, but I'm going to have to take it into the dealer ... Bummer for me
@@aztriumphster Thanks for the speedy reply brother. It's not a code. What happens is this, when I turn on the ignition, engine light used to come on then goes off before I fire up the bike. NOW, it stay lit UNTIL, I start the bike, then it goes unlit. I rode it & the engine light doesn't come on, but when I go to start it again, the same thing happens. Sorry if I confused you.

I haven't done a second round yet. When i did this video, I just blasted the bike on the freeway ha ha. I tried to progressively roll on the throttle all the way up to 100% and i watched the rpms and tried to get all the way up to redline before shifting.
Great videos. So after 5 months of riding with the HD tuner, are you still happy with it? I am trying to choose a tuner and I do have a warranty so Screamin Eagle is the way I am leaning. Thanks!
This tuner is definitely the way u wanna go if your bike is still under warranty. I am still happy with my setup. You really get out of it what u put into it. As the weather started to warm up the performance changed. I haven't updated the tune but itd be as easy as doin the smart tune process again. I'm also looking at a new intake manifild so if I do that, I'm glad to know all I gotta do is plug in the tuner and go run her up and down the freeway and ill be good.
I have a 2020 softail standard 107 and I bought a set of vance hinds big radius pipes and a high flow air cleaner also the pro street tuner , my question is do I have to put wide band o2 sensors or can I use the stock ones? thanks Mike
The pro street tuner uses the factory O2 sensors. Im not sure what size the O2 bugs r on ur new pips but if its the larger of the two, you can get adapters for cheap
So I see it made request to change the VE tables for both front and rear cylinders. However does it give you an option to also change the air/fuel ratios from what the manufacturer has installed? For example if you are running 14.6:1 in cruising does the system let you change it to 13:1 AFR?
I just purchased a 2019 Ultra Limited. It had this screaming eagle tuner in trunk and I can see that the is an after market Vance & Hines exhaust system. I am assuming that previous owner did some sort of tune, sine he had the unit in the trunk. Not sure what other mods were made. Any recommendations or how to tell what other mods were done, or what tunes were completed?
Its highly likely that the air cleaner is upgraded, although u won't know for sure unless u plug that tuning module onto a lap top and see what map they chose

Hey. I live in Az near Roadrunner Harley and just got a Screamin Eagle Pro Street Tuner (the new itty bitty one) and was wondering if maybe sometime we could meet up and you could help me understand the software a bit.
Do you have a high flow air cleaner? And since the cat is in the muffler on the softails. Headpipe on touring. Does this tuner accommodate decatted headpipe? I have stage 2 Harley kit and decatted my headpipe and noticed the difference in power loss
Chris, I had a high flow air cleaner on my slim, and slip ons, when I did this tune. I have a fat bob now, which comes with the cat in the factory headpipe. I did an initial stage one map download on the fat bob with just slip ons and a K&N element in the factory air cleaner. I noticed the difference. Then I went to a full 2 - 2 system and an S&S air cleaner and did the smart tune and it appears the smart tune accounts for the change in flow.
I recall I definitely noticed a difference but I don't know that I would classify it as a significant performance gain. It was more in the realm of smoothed out and more efficienct power delivery. My 114 fat bob seemed to respond better to the stage one components and download, despite having a cat in the headpipe. It puts down power throughout the rev range while the 107 still seemed to taper off after 3.5 - 4k rpms
Hey so I have a 2021 iron 1200 and on my way back home from the recording, my check engine light came on. I’m also at 1100 miles with the original oil. Do you think it’s maybe the chip or just needs an oil change??
There is a way to see what code it is throwing. I dont remember the sequence offhand but im sure u could find it online fairly easy. Once u have the code, u can look it up or call ur dealership and ask them
I noticed a performance improvement from the base map, and then further improvement from the smart tune. I ran the base map for a couple few weeks before using the smart tune feature so it will suffice.

I just got the twin slash 3s from V&H for my 2020 breakout.. now I'm eyeballing this tuner and the SE K&N filter... as far as the filter element, I can change just that with the tuner and be considered Stage 1? I see some people getting these kits and changing out where the filter element lives but that's too much for me ATM so I just want to stick with the filter element and leaving the filter housing stock. Please advise.

Thanks for the tutorial. I went with V&H slipons and screaming eagle Intake. Definitely peppy in the high rpms and take off from first is robust.

I had it done by the dealer as they have a dyno. The big things I noticed was the slight decel pop was gone and throttle response was much better.

It's been a while since I did this but I think it had given me the option to save the file after clicking program motorcycle
I understand closed loop ( using O2 sensors) works only to about 3000 rpm then your running on

Not that really jumped out at me, however there are tuning options i didnt mess with. Spark advance for example.

Just bought the new se tuner that is Bluetooth, I am going to smart tune it to the way I ride so it should adjust correct?
