Can you please provide some basics questions/ tasks that can be done with ssis

Here is a task for you to do Soni! Create a flat file .txt format. You can utilize Excel to create the table first and then save it as .CSV and then open the .CSV, copy and paste it to text editor and save it as .TXT file. The table will have 10 rows of data across its three columns. Columns are student_id, course, grade. So records in each row would look like bush_001, calculus, A, soni_002, linear_algebra, B and so on... Once you created that .txt file, name it student_records. Then I want you to create a database lets call it test and then right into test database I want you to create a table with correct data type aligning with your flat file student_records. Then I want you to find an ETL solution by following this lecture. If you can do it in one chance, I would say you have brain, if not, then it may be you really need to work hard to clear your conceptions....

I found your lecture useful although I must admit it was hard for me to understand and not because your lack of understanding of the subject matter but due to the way you utilize English in an Indian manner. It's pretty straightforward to find ETL solution when it comes to Excel file and flat file (.csv, .txt). I wonder how challenging it can get when it comes to conduct the ETL to extract data from let's say PostgreSQL or MySQL and load it into SQL Server 2019? Keep up the good work!
