"You have to be your own teacher" - this is very helpful. Thank you !
I love the breakdown of the pirouette. The metaphor of a "recipe" is great. You are a master teacher with a beautiful dancer to demonstrate. Well done!
Dear Dance lovers, finally our website is ready to be presented. Its a educational website on how to learn ballet. Please take a look any comments welcome. Andrew

I watched this video, practiced his teachings...and did my very first double pirouette!
we're here to help you
How patient and clear this instructor is.
brilliant. i love how you broke it down into parts, allowing one to practice separate parts and put them together at the end.. love the left eye thing in spotting. thank you so much.
Excellent! Love that you teach the "swing" of the arms opening to 2nd then closing 1st.
I have always had a problem with spotting, but I have never heard it put to spot with one eye. I will definitely be implementing that in my next ballet class. Thank you so much!
Best online class ever.
pushing down on the floor, a bow getting ready to release really helped me!
These were really nice tips. They were really well explained and demonstrated. I tried a few piruoettes after watching it and they ended up really better. :)
Thank you very much for posting all these vids!
I couldn't a pirouette at all before this. Thank you! Thank you!
Love the spotting with one eye. It helped, thank you.
Thank you for the breakdown!
Thank you for the awesome videos!
Muito bom, bem detalhado buscando a perfeição.Obrigado
Gosh, you are such an awesome instructor!
wow i just found this, i was looking for help with my pirouettes and its solved all my problems, great video :))
Gosh, you are such an awesome teacher! :)
Excellent !! Thank you
Fantastic. Amazing.
Awesome video, thank you so much!
brilliant ! thanks for sharing this video
太好了! 感谢!
Passe is not fixed enough on the standing leg therefore also creating way too much resistance while turning
This has helped me so much! Can you do a video on tour jetes? I can't seem to get them down. I just look like I'm flailing about.
Good. I would add two things: one is not to sink and stick out the right buttock (the left one fot left turners) just before you push off. it causes you to get up turned in and uneven turn out during the turn. If slow mo you'll see her position during the is not really ideal. Two: a pirouette should finish up and not down. I think by saying to separate the turn and the finish causes one to jump out of the turn. You see her doing it quite clearly. One should finish the turn up and than come down.
I find it odd that she doesn´t spot front since she prepares en face- even if she finishes en croisé.
But thank you anyway for the advice!
I have never seen that before either! Off to researching then! :)
I was always told to spot where i was going to land!!!
So so helpful! "^.^"
I am blind in my left eye, so what can I do, instead, then?
OH NO! get better soon :(
My teacher says that if a student cant stand on a coupe releve,he or she cant also do a pirouette. Is this true?
i kind of wish she would've pushed for more turns... she seemed so stuck on the doubles.
Do u go left or right? I been going left
She is doing an outside pirouette on her left leg, so she is turning to the right.
I bet :D
she has really short legs!
I do too. Long torso, short legs. (vs the ideal shape of short torso, long legs).
he fails to spot the probelm she is having, if she repeat such wrong habits, she will never be a good turner. her head is not flipping correctly, slanting. And her arms position is too wide open while she is turning, that added too much frictions and disturbance to the center of mass
Nice but may I suggest next time calling the dancer by her real name rather than the depersonalising "dancer" (she's not just a body and it's quite unnecessary not to use her name!).
Those aren't very good. I don't like her spotting either.
