I wish I had gotten to know Nipsey Hussle and his music. I didn’t know about him until he died. He seems like a very beautiful person. I don’t know anything about the struggles of poc in the ghetto; that said, I respect what he was doing. He worked hard to be successful, but he never forgot where he came from. Nip was doing positive things for his community, even after his rap career took off. He was lifting up other people so they could live better lives like him. He provided jobs for people. That’s how you know he was an authentic, stand-up guy. He showed nothing but love for people. And it only makes his murder so much more heartbreaking. Not to mention he was a *fantastic* rapper. It’s sad that he didn’t get to have a longer career. If he wasn’t a legend or one of the greats, I think he would’ve become one. Rest In Peace Nipsey Hussle. You’re with Biggie and Tupac now.
