I met Marvin once, when I was a very young working musician. He was kind, funny and all class in that moment. What an incredible talent. RIP Mr. Hamlisch!
My favorite song of all the James Bond themes is and will always be We Have All the Time in the World, performed by Louis Armstrong. The second is this. 🙏🏻✨🌟 🇧🇷
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!! I have to admit there are two James Bond movies which come to my mind when I think of films perfectly capturing the essence of the times they were made: one is "Never say never again" (1983), the other is "The spy who loved me" (1977). Both due to their magnificently colourful and sparkling scores which are precisely reflecting the times they were written in - Michel Legrand's and in this case Marvin Hamlisch's. And, by the way, "Nobody does it better" is one of the best film songs ever written at all.

Play by ear. That's how I do it.
@@edsmith6504 Correct. Best way to start internalising a song.
Appropriate description of the composer
They might have tuned the piano for him...!
Yeah, some notes in the mid register sounds... off.
Loki
Am I the only one who believes that the piano is slightly out of tune in some central notes? Or is it tuned like honky tonk pianos?
Intentionally I'm sure, made it even better
I thought I was the only one
