Fresno FAX 2009 New Flyer C40LFR (0913) Full Ride

  • 0913, along with 0906 and 0907, are the only 2009 C40LFRs part of the spare fleet, meaning that they are only used whenever a regularly assigned bus is out of service. 0913 in particular has been on almost every route and basically every corner of Fresno. Originally a Route 45 regular, it was allocated to the spare fleet sometime last year and has been seen on many different routes (usually Routes 34 and 38 on occasion), including non-regular routes such as Routes 9, 38, and yes, even Route 1, whenever the specific subs for those routes (1606, 1704, 1720, 1726) are out and additional buses are needed.

    The c40lfrs sound like are 2008 c40lfrs minus the voith transmission

      When I was in OC last year I got a chance to ride one of OCTA’s LFRs and I did notice that they sound very similar to ours, despite having a different transmission.
