I like the Lavalle sled more not only for it's handling and power but it's collectability factor. definitely a sled ill be hanging on to. The 440 is great too but it's just not the same in the performance department relating to how i like to ride.

Polaris IQR 440cc and 600cc. 600s were made from 2005-2016. 440s were only made from 05-07. They were Polaris’ factory race model during that time frame until the new Axys 600r came in 2017.
Looks like a pretty good snow storm coming though in the next day or two that’s supposed to put some snow down in Iowa. Still, if there’s no base, idk if it will be any good for riding. We got spoiled up here but also got rain yesterday and it really knocked down our snow quality.
Lol kept his cool when she crashed the sled that's funny. He was angry you can hear it in his voice plus he just fixed it pror to the crash lol. Of course he was mad. If it would of been a guy riding the sled it would of been a different story.
The only polaris I have ever liked was the iqr 600s I never been a polaris fan had very bad luck owned polaris for 4 years I change to Yamaha great Reliable sleds but shitty suspension rode Yamaha for 17 years upgraded to ski doo this years...

Supposed to be rough over here this week and into next week. Mid to high 30’s and potential rain. Hoping it doesn’t ruin the snow too much. I’ll be out shoveling jumps though if I can. Good weather for that!

Both the red IQR and the Lavallee IQR are single piped. Red one has a bikeman performance can and lavallee sled has a jaws can.

Very fun sleds but man they’re high maintenance
They are a blast! If you keep up on maintenance it’s worth the switch
They are awesome sleds but like ANY actual race model, they will take more care and maintenance than normal. They perform to make up for it though!

Grew up with my Dad's SXR 700 triple. Yamaha makes great sleds. Im nowhere near ready to switch to 4 strokes though. 2 stroke life for sure.

I grew up on 440s an there is no comparison the 600 is much faster on top end.
I also grew up on 440 race sleds but there's a difference between high compression and running 91. Displacement will still always win, as you said.
