A few things I don’t like about Augusta , Richmond Co is , The county is in charge of the trash service. When you buy property, the county will bring you a trash can, and add about $ 350 dollars to your property tax bill. They ( offer) bulk pick up. SO, people just throw all their big items out by the mailbox. It gets picked up ( when ever) . There is a lot of trash in Augusta. Also, the county charges you $ 6.50 a month for storm water fee. Even if you have well, septic tank.

Yes, when I lived in Richmond County my neighbors redid their kitchen and literally put their old kitchen cabinets at the street for the trash pick up... and they did. It was an eyesore for several weeks before it was actually taken by the trash service.😑
