Great video! You did mention in the video that there are other products available that can be used as well. Would you be able to list them? The more options, the better.
Thank you for this video. it has been very helpful. I have cracks like this, but then also large chucks of the top coat coming off. as large as 2 feet by 3 feet. maybe 1/2 inch thick. what product would be best for that?
I amrenting but have the ok to fix it up. what about when concrete has shifted upwards in the cracks? and parts are raised higher up than others... any solutions for that? Thanks! Great video.
@@creolecajun9988 I think it is silica sand. You put it behind the crack filler to stop it from sinking in too much and I also think it helps with the bonding of the two materials.
Nice video and always remember wear a mask 😷 that concrete dust is deadly my buddy does it for a living grinds a lot of cracks and never wore a mask and had to have surgery to remove a mass on his lung 🫁 so please do that and be safe
we used to used carry an epoxy and mix it on site way more messier and than poor sand the same way til it puffed up than scraped it flat after wed run a coat of artex n bam .
Your right....your not a professional! If you were you'd know the difference between well executed concrete crack repairs and "Messy" Concrete Crack repair

Michael Hinchey yes he should have proper PPE. hearing protection is reccomended as well as a proper respirator/face mask. a fan is a decent idea as he suggest, but it would be much safer to use OSHA reccomended PPE.
Kill myself? Wow. Trust me I appreciate the video however if I was nieve I would have not realize the harm the dust causes. Not only adults watch this for help but Kids watch and learn from you tube. If they see someone not wearing a mask they will think it's not dangerous to work around silica. If this was 1960 and CZcams was around back then, I would understand him not wearing proper PPE because it wasn't really known to be harmful. Silica dust is, in fact, very harmful and I hope I saved a life with these statements I have made.
Thanks Efrain. Very clear and useful explanation of how to repair the cracks.

Concrete Crack Repair.
thanks for deafening! good tip, but mute it dude
To all the people complaining about him not wearing a mask: He's outside so it isn't required or needed at all actually
I liked the video overall but not having shown us the final finishing procedure and the end result was a bit disappointing.
Michael might be right...but is not being kind....
I thought u had to blow into the cracks with a compressor or leaf blower to get the dust out. I'm not a professional ,but this job looked sloppy
sharpie132 if ur not a professional and don’t know then STFU

Safety first GLOVES,EAR PROTECTOR 🙈
Not wearing mask + concrete dust = death
What did you say? No ear protection either!!
Hector Arias snowflake
How about showing people how to work safe by actually using it yourself. A mask is really needed when you are working around silica dust.
Michael Hinchey just commented the same thing lol
