I don't think it will solve the problem. It was her insecurity that made her feel not special or beautiful. She seem to attract a lot of guys and she appears to be this free-spirited, lovely and confident girl and most guys were intimidated but the truth is she is insecured about her looks, body and always thought that Jessica was better than her. Her mom always praise her but she doesn't seem to buy it. I wish she didn't care about those stuff. Everyone is different from one another but we are all unique and special in our own ways.

I hate when people say bad things about this show. If this show will trigger any depression or any other mental illness that you have don't Watch it. But as someone who has depression and other mental illnesses, i think people hate it because it shows every single thing without a filter, without the rainbows, unicorns, and happy endings. I respect this show for showing all of the struggles even though they knew that there would be a lot of negative feedback.

maybe Hannah is a fictional character, but her issues are so real that some of them were my issues, loosing my friends, my coming out, my dad who passed away and left me and my mother and little sister alone in this world, my ex two best friends who made rumors about me, my suicide attempt two years ago that no one came to see me in the hospital when I was near death for an overdose, my mom who is always mocking me about my physics, my love that doesn't even know my existence , my scars on my tights and arms from self harming that no one noticed cause I always wear long sleeves, and me crying in the shower every night so no one can see me, my family who neglects me cause I'm not manly enough,my dad's friend who nearly raped me (maybe he did) during my sleepover at his place when we were just me and him he took me near his crotch and started to tickle my belly and smelling my hair he even slept like we were a couple he was holding onto me in the morning I felt something behind me and a small pain and I knew exactly that it was a nightmare , so when this show came out it was like a drug that could help me, tho Hannah is not real her issues are real, and if u read this and you've gone a lot plz take care of yourself cause I love you all of my heart stranger ❤

i loved this video so much because it shows the layers of hannah's and olivia's relationship throughout season one & season two. the pain is so real. i wished i was in the show cause if i was, i wouldn't abandon hannah at all. i miss her so much till this day. 😭

Almost 2 years ago i lost a good friend of mine her name was Bailey. She had a kind heart and a bright soul and the last couple months of her existence NEVER gave off the vibe that she was going to kill herself soon.. Flashforward to 2 months or so me and a few of our friends were out and had ran into her and our other friend. Had a huge blast we danced we laughed and partook in a few drinks together even got a couple pics and a vid or two of us all being silly. That next day waking up to find out she had took a bullet to her face and killed herself... It was the most heart wrenching experience ive ever had to deal with... You ask yourself why? And try to blame yourself for not knowing anything was ever wrong. She never made it seem like that obviously she made herself great at hiding her pain until that one day she just couldnt live anymore..... The worst part about this story is knowing i was with her with our friends the night before and never knew something was wrong never bothered asking and to this day ive replayed that night to myself over and over again wandering if there were ever any signs i missed or could've done or said anything to change her mind 😥😥😥 she was so young and was so kind you never truly know what goes on in people's minds.. Cherish and love everyone and be sure to always be there for someone even if it doesnt ever seem that serious cause you never know 💙
And now here we are at season 4 Hannah’s mother in New York and Andy in a new family it’s sad but I’m excited cause for me season 4 is coming in an hour and I hope they show Hannah in flashbacks or just mention her.

The sad part is coming from someone who’s attempted suicide and almost succeeded, I know the damage it can leave on your parents. One of my fatal attempts, my parents didn’t even let my little sister go to the hospital bc they truly thought I was going to die. But suicide is serious and it leaves permanent marks on the ones you love. I also have lost 3 friends to suicide, and it stills scars me to this day.
Me too I was in sucide hospital for years after I cut my wrist I can't watch the bathtub screen I made two friends in there we were like sisters we did everything in there we were released at same time one sister commit suicide an hour after being released and my other sister after 2weeks it been 2yesrs and I'm 17 now but it's still hard I'm glad you're doing better ❤️❤️❤️

Such a nice and yet sad video... ....Hannah Baker touched everyone`s heart, to bad they had to end her story to soon. Would have loved her to be the survivor who after attempting suicide ,helps out other struggling students in her school to overcome thoughts of doing the unimaginable and hurting, not only themselves but also the people that care and love in their life. I think that kind of plot would have made the young audience see things more CLEAR and feel HOPEFUL, that there is more to life and that no one is less of a human being than others. Everyone is SPECIAL in their own way, just as HANNAH was special,especially to Clay. Their friendship and relationship would have been the right TRIGGER to put in the series..They can make another 4 season with the main characters while their attending college,including Katherine with a new identity and slightly different character(more or less like Hannah who didn`t commit suicide how i described above - Imagine Clay`s face when he would see her for the first time :D )...Good job by the way on the video...:D
I think people hate this show because it shows how people can go from themselves, to a shell of what they once were with mental illness. I’ve seen how someone went from being happy with their life to so depressed that they eventually took their life. It’s not nice to watch. This show portrays it well I believe. You see them lose themselves but you often miss signs or don’t know how to stop them from hurting themselves. There needs to be more done to break the stigma down around it, make people see what it does and feel uncomfortable. Then they will understand more about it I believe. It’s a hard thing to understand until you see it take effect
This show really shows the truth and effects about suicide. People can be suffering so badly but nobody knows, and that's the sad part. If I hadn't have seen this show and known what the effects and impact it would have made, I would have committed suicide. But I'm fighting, and living. This is a beautiful video!

I read in here so many comments, that transport the message that every ending is a new beginning. And I wanna tell you something: Someone who's like Hannah is convinced that there'll never ever be a beginning. And for some reasons you cannot convince them by the opposite. Someone like her finds a reason not to stay in every situation. And every little thing is driving that person one step near to death. It sounds completely crazy. But I feel that too, every damn day. Sorry for the negativity I'm spreading.

You know what's the saddest thing about my parents? Hannahs parents loved her. She was the most important human-beeing on earth for them. And they did not know about their problems, Hannah hid them too well. And you know: I gave my parents clear signs about how I'm doing. But they just don't care. They went on with their lives and ignored me. Much more: They lie straight into my face and they're not even sorry for it.
2nd part of my comment would be: I imagine of how my parents would have reacted if they would have found me like Hannah in the bathroom. I think they would not even say something. They'd look at me and at each other. And they'd just be shocked and afterwards they'd have a fight about who's going to touch me and call the ambulance.

I always find myself standing on the edge, I want to live on one side and to the other is me wanting to end it all. Sadly I'm afraid that I find myself tilted towards the latter 😞😥 I don't know how long will I hold on but I just wanna admit to I want to live!! It's just that I find nothing to live for, my family is something that I've lived so far away for...! To whoever reading this, I wish you do not ever go through this because it hurts...it hurts so bad to have nobody to talk to!! But I can imagine how my Oblivion would look like... A place where nobody have to be sad or depressed, where you have everyone to listen to you, where you don't get bullied for your skin colour, where you'd find things to laugh at, and where nobody treat you like shit !! I hope this ends soon... I hope next time I'm not born here, and if I do I hope I'd be strong enough to stay...

Nobody gives a shit until it's too late. Poor Hannah, really. I'm personally really sad my mother doesn't give the same attention at me as Mrs.Baker did for Hannah. It often even happen that I wonder if my mother knew what I felt and if she knew that I'm doubting about her love.
People did care, she just didn't recognise it. She didn't ask for help in all the right places. You can't expect people to know how you feel if you don't tell them. You need to talk to your mum about how you're feeling because everyone else has their own life and problems they're trying to deal with that they can't help you unless you say something.

I struggle with depression and this show help me a lot to deal with my suicide thoughts, and I grew to love Hannah character because of her flaws and qualities too, I see a little bit of myself in that

You showed that Hannah’s parents, despite being wonderful, had messed up. They didn’t help their daughter when she needed it the most, and you did an incredible job with this. I always cry when i see this video, i feel hannah! I like the words of mother hannahs who say: How did we not know? How did i not know? She was right here... And she was in pain, and she was reaching out,and we just kept pretending everything was okay. Why didin't i just tell her she was pretty? Why didin't i just say was...perfect! Almost 2 years ago i lost a good friend of mine her name was Bailey. She had a kind heart and a bright soul and the last couple months of her existence NEVER gave off the vibe that she was going to kill herself soon.. Flashforward to 2 months or so me and a few of our friends were out and had ran into her and our other friend. Had a huge blast we danced we laughed and partook in a few drinks together even got a couple pics and a vid or two of us all being silly. That next day waking up to find out she had took a bullet to her face and killed herself... It was the most heart wrenching experience ive ever had to deal with... You ask yourself why? And try to blame yourself for not knowing anything was ever wrong. She never made it seem like that obviously she made herself great at hiding her pain until that one day she just couldnt live anymore..... The worst part about this story is knowing i was with her with our friends the night before and never knew something was wrong never bothered asking and to this day ive replayed that night to myself over and over again wandering if there were ever any signs i missed or could've done or said anything to change her mind 😥😥😥 she was so young and was so kind you never truly know what goes on in people's minds.. Cherish and love everyone and be sure to always be there for someone even if it doesnt ever seem that serious cause you never know 💙

The sad part is coming from someone who’s attempted suicide and almost succeeded, I know the damage it can leave on your parents. One of my fatal attempts, my parents didn’t even let my little sister go to the hospital bc they truly thought I was going to die. But suicide is serious and it leaves permanent marks on the ones you love. I also have lost 3 friends to suicide, and it stills scars me to this day.

Me too I was in sucide hospital for years after I cut my wrist I can't watch the bathtub screen I made two friends in there we were like sisters we did everything in there we were released at same time one sister commit suicide an hour after being released and my other sister after 2weeks it been 2yesrs and I'm 17 now but it's still hard I'm glad you're doing better ❤️❤️❤️

"13 Reasons Why" A Masterpiece.
Such a nice and yet sad video... ....Hannah Baker touched everyone`s heart, to bad they had to end her story to soon. Would have loved her to be the survivor who after attempting suicide ,helps out other struggling students in her school to overcome thoughts of doing the unimaginable and hurting, not only themselves but also the people that care and love in their life. I think that kind of plot would have made the young audience see things more CLEAR and feel HOPEFUL, that there is more to life and that no one is less of a human being than others. Everyone is SPECIAL in their own way, just as HANNAH was special,especially to Clay. Their friendship and relationship would have been the right TRIGGER to put in the series..They can make another 4 season with the main characters while their attending college,including Katherine with a new identity and slightly different character(more or less like Hannah who didn`t commit suicide how i described above - Imagine Clay`s face when he would see her for the first time :D )...Good job by the way on the video...:D

I think people hate this show because it shows how people can go from themselves, to a shell of what they once were with mental illness. I’ve seen how someone went from being happy with their life to so depressed that they eventually took their life. It’s not nice to watch. This show portrays it well I believe. You see them lose themselves but you often miss signs or don’t know how to stop them from hurting themselves. There needs to be more done to break the stigma down around it, make people see what it does and feel uncomfortable. Then they will understand more about it I believe. It’s a hard thing to understand until you see it take effect
This show really shows the truth and effects about suicide. People can be suffering so badly but nobody knows, and that's the sad part. If I hadn't have seen this show and known what the effects and impact it would have made, I would have committed suicide. But I'm fighting, and living. This is a beautiful video!

I read in here so many comments, that transport the message that every ending is a new beginning. And I wanna tell you something: Someone who's like Hannah is convinced that there'll never ever be a beginning. And for some reasons you cannot convince them by the opposite. Someone like her finds a reason not to stay in every situation. And every little thing is driving that person one step near to death. It sounds completely crazy. But I feel that too, every damn day.
Sorry for the negativity I'm spreading.
She already the alarm bells when asking the gang about how they felt like she cannot take anymore and wanted to die..
I hope my comment saves someone who's reading it. When you look outside you see everyone. When you start looking within, you will see yourself. You have a choice. What you think is the end, is often a new beginning. So don't just end it. Don't try to end your life. Wait for the next chapter, surrender all your pain and you will be free. You are here for a reason. If 13 reasons why, then you will have a 14th "why not". So wait for your 14th reason. Have faith in God and yourself. You are not alone.

You know what's the saddest thing about my parents? Hannahs parents loved her. She was the most important human-beeing on earth for them. And they did not know about their problems, Hannah hid them too well.
And you know: I gave my parents clear signs about how I'm doing. But they just don't care. They went on with their lives and ignored me. Much more: They lie straight into my face and they're not even sorry for it.
2nd part of my comment would be:
I imagine of how my parents would have reacted if they would have found me like Hannah in the bathroom.
I think they would not even say something. They'd look at me and at each other. And they'd just be shocked and afterwards they'd have a fight about who's going to touch me and call the ambulance.
This is something that made me realize the pain i will put my mother through if i choose what Hannah did.
Her mother tells Clay, while sitting near Hannah's grave, before the homecoming game that Bryce gets to come home but her daughter is dead :(

watching these make me feel hope, like i can do it, because I feel so sad. but then I go to school, and return to the way I was. in despair for nobody but myself, people can be depressed as well, but not feel the things I feel. I’ve always had an obsession with suicide. I remember throwing toys at the bottom of the stair when I was little, and saying I was gonna jump and kill my self, but I got to anxious, and now.. I think I might.
School is such a short period of your life, once you get through it things will likely improve.

@@lynalyna462 I was bullied relentlessly throughout my life. I know exactly how it feels and I know how down and depressed you can get from it. But your life is your own so if you choose to take it, that's what you did.
Nobody gives a shit until it's too late. Poor Hannah, really. I'm personally really sad my mother doesn't give the same attention at me as Mrs.Baker did for Hannah. It often even happen that I wonder if my mother knew what I felt and if she knew that I'm doubting about her love.
People did care, she just didn't recognise it. She didn't ask for help in all the right places. You can't expect people to know how you feel if you don't tell them. You need to talk to your mum about how you're feeling because everyone else has their own life and problems they're trying to deal with that they can't help you unless you say something.
