Didn't die, it was killed! Its all by design. The murder of Gianni by an assassin, the "suicide" of McQueen, the public embarrassment of Galliano! No, there are no accidents in bussines, just business as usual.
Yes!!!!! I miss the energy of these decades on the runway. It is FASHION. The drama. The camp. The appeal. Very Dominique Deveraux and Alexis Carrington. 🥰 Can't go wrong with Lady Miss Kier and Deee-Lite as a soundtrack for fabulous. Love these highlights of these wonderfully gorgeous Mugler creations! Thank you for sharing. 😊💙🖤✨
Hardly some1 would overcome the legacy. Mons Thierry Mugler has left in the haute couture history. His fashion performances are full visual arts. Awesome!
I was just in fabulous Montreal last week and saw the Thierry Mugler exhibit at the MMFA. I saw a lot of the outfits in this clip. Truly awesome couture and design !
I literally have never seen a Mugler show and not have my temperture rise. There is no doubt this man was and is the most defining creative designer in the last 100 years. EVERYONE he chooses to be involved with the show should feel quite fortunate indeed
He was one of the best designer's "out there". He often used famous people (like Bianca Jagger and daughter) in his show's, and of course he was considered to be the best tailer ever!
This is amazing! If only there was youtube back in the 80’s-90’s. I missed all of this. I would’ve really jammed on this. I was in my prime. Seeing it today...it is mostly lost on me. Im not there anymore. Im too spiritual and authentic now. Wonderful footage! Top!
Fanf×××ingtastic! An excellent display of ideas transformed into fashion. I love this entire video from start to finish because let's face it, this is mesmerizing🥰
Grateful to the internet that the new generations can see what true "fashion" looked like. Hopefully there will be a revival but i won't be holding my breath. Folks no a days are too dumb to have an original thought let alone innovate. Woe is man
Thierry was a Gay fashion icon in our Industry of Haute Couture in the 80s and 90s. I have read how many people wish this type of fashion artistry could exist today. I wonder. Our World is so politically correct today that I think his work would be roundly criticized for objectifying women, particularly when he combines the female form with machinery. Yet, we miss him! C'est dommage for the World.
Why don’t we see this kind of drama and passion anymore? Genuine question.
Anna Winter killed fashion by putting reality "stars" on the cover of vogue and on the runway.
you can in rupauls drag race
binboda humanity is growing collectively in a spiritual sense and as a result have become disenchanted with what doesn’t matter
One word and that is BUSINESS
Screw all of the other explanations
Less drama and more fashion
Back when models weren't dead and lifeless and they actually let them have fun on runways
today we only have lifeless dolls
I see a lot of dresses, hats and sunglasses that gaga used on the BTW era. This is art, so dramatic. LOVE IT!
Most of those designs were actually Philip Tracey.
The ex-creative director for Mugler is best friends with Gaga and works with her on designs, so the influence is definite. It's fantastic.
@@spammy1982 Thats true, I also saw a few Cardi B looks like at 4:01
Eww, Gaga.
Also one if the dress is weared by cardi b
This makes present day runway look like a joke. MUGLER PUT ON SHOOWWSSS
BRING #THIERRYMUGLER BACK !! THIS IS EVERYTHING THAT WAS THE WORLD OF FASHION- THEATER- ART- COUTURE-DRAG-HUMOR- GODDESSES -
The soundtrack by Deee-Lite is an amazing tribute to the designer. Wow!
This show you how fashion died after the 2000s
Didn't die, it was killed! Its all by design. The murder of Gianni by an assassin, the "suicide" of McQueen, the public embarrassment of Galliano! No, there are no accidents in bussines, just business as usual.
soltan alosmi yes i agree
We had Alexander McQueen in the 2000s
@@cartierboi6438 ... and there was Galliano - he really got it ...
The world as we knew it is dying. And fashion only reflect that.
When a fashion show really was a festive occasion 🎉🎉🎉 I love Mugler by David Koma, but these aren't just dresses, it's art ❤️
Lady Kier will forever be iconic
I hope to see this style make a comeback. Fashion is taking a turn in my opinion. We definitely need more drag in high fashion
It’s the year 2023 and the fashions in this runway show are *still* stunningly relevant… Timeless. 💋💄
Thierry Mugler and Alexander McQueen did the best shows! Nowadays its like zombies walking down the runway
OMG YES!!
I'm am so clueless when it comes to fashion but I always loved Mugler's ultra-sophistication and futuristic sexiness of his designs.
Back when fashion show was a SHOW ! It was an event !
Now this is the type if a fashion show I would stand
Hardly some1 would overcome the legacy. Mons Thierry Mugler has left in the haute couture history. His fashion performances are full visual arts. Awesome!
Pure passion and professionals.
He is a genious, you can see his influence in many other designers and stylists collection and shows year after year.
I was just in fabulous Montreal last week and saw the Thierry Mugler exhibit at the MMFA. I saw a lot of the outfits in this clip. Truly awesome couture and design !
This show is beyond art
how do you say astral projection?
how do you say mugler
Back to the time when modeling, has a life.
I literally have never seen a Mugler show and not have my temperture rise. There is no doubt this man was and is the most defining creative designer in the last 100 years. EVERYONE he chooses to be involved with the show should feel quite fortunate indeed
Thierry Mugler was and always will be my favorite fashion designer of all time! And my 2nd favorite is Alexander McQueen.
He was one of the best designer's "out there". He often used famous people (like Bianca Jagger and daughter) in his show's, and of course he was considered to be the best tailer ever!
I love Mugler.... Some of the best, most artistic, fun, and creative looks I've seen have come from them...
Iris Van Herpen is the only modern designer who brings new ideas to the runway like Mugler used to. She's a pioneer.
Guo pei is right there
This is one of my favorite videos of all timeeee I´m obssesed

No Helena Barquilla? She was one of his best models.
Whoever people says 90's fashion is a disaster clearly never seen this video...
90's Ready-to-Wear fashion was a disaster. 90's couture was immaculate.
They selling perfume lmfao
Its kinda sad that these beautiful iconic fashion dresses r just lying somewhere in a box in paris
No there in museums
Fashion GOD

The real Supermodels were inspired by vouging legends and their houses ..... it's quite incredible
Not since Mugler and McQueen has fashion been interesting....
True. The death of McQueen and the fall of Galliano was basically the end.

Weird how the only place you can see anything similar to this fun style is drag shows now

they’re all on CZcams. The clip of the model in the motorcycle corset is from a George Michael music video.
