you have to unlock the standard progressive skin first to equip it. Otherwise, you can salvage it for schematics and polymers.

I kept my free coupons for this update. First crate was gold with a Battlestat Dragonov and the second crate was gold again with the progressive AUG. So I'm already done with update 29.1 for now. Most luckiest crate opening ever. I'll keep my remaining coupons for the next update.

I spent like 50 free CONtraband coupons on the new crate, was hoping to get the Battlestat Dragunov since i missed out on it but ended up pulling the new Progressive Bumper Blaster AUG, so not going to complain about that! I'm still not the biggest fan of the design, especially compared to the Neon Dream AUG that I already have and enjoy using. With that said I did equip it and checked it out in a game, it doesn't look as bad as I originally thought it would...with it's color scheme, the Bumper Blaster AUG kind of reminds me of the Syd Mead AUG skin i would use in CSGO.

Hello Dome, I discovered that if the confirm button appears immediately after opening the gold box, then it is a progressive/chroma skin for the first time in your inventory. Theoretically you find out if something is good before with a second of animation. For exemple look at 11:11 at the Aug crate, first time the confirm button appears immediately, for the second aug, the button didn’t, because it is already in your inventory.
It is not who knows what information, but it is an extra knowledge :D

If true, that's some terrible luck, think i would be trying some different tactics to break that streak...i don't have the best of luck but i have gotten 4 progressive skins from my 3+ years of opening the CONtraband crates with the free coupons. Most of the time though if I got a gold crate it was either the Gold Plate AKM, TikTok M4, or a duplicate battlestat skin.
