I set small goals and smash them. You don't carve a statue by hitting a block of marble with a hammer one time. You chisel it away one tiny chip at a time until it's carved into what you wanted. Small goals consistently lead to big goals in the long run.

For me, personally, because of Iron Wolf and his workout style, here's how my workouts go. Before workout: Dread, confusion. During workout: Pain, will to quit, refusal to quit as long as I don't achieve my goals (usually.) Post workout: When is the next workout? This one was fucking amazing.
Art has helped changed my Mindset for training. Doing a modified version of his 90 day programme right now. My ability to endure the volume has changed dramatically. I don’t look forward to it but I like it
I feel like I owe so much to Art, he shaped my life and allowed me to see how strong I truly am. No bullshit, says it how it is. A true gift to society.
Nice Wolf honestly the training is pleasurable for me. I don’t do your workout everyday but I commit 6 days a week. My challenge is my degree Environmental Science the academic side does not come natural. So i will take my tactical break and whatever else I need to get through it until I finish this is year 4 of 6 (part time). Will be honest with myself. Being 57 and pretty fit, your workouts have made me love burpees and push-ups as a regular routine after, before or with my workout of the day. While I thought I had a solid core in the past, it has become noticeably stronger since adding your drills. Stay Safe and thanks for Serving our awesome Country.

This is true and I wish I was told this and taught this before, I had to learn a bit of it myself, but the spark came from watching motivational videos. You need to want to believe in yourself and in your word, you need to have discipline, motivation is fine in the beginning so that you have something that makes you start, but eventually the only thing that keeps you going everyday, that keeps it a routine, is discipline, being a man of your word, a man that wants to become greater. I have the urge to drink soda every time I see it, still I’ve ignored the urge so much that now it’s small and I can easily just change my mind and drink water, I only drink soda now on the weekends and sometimes If the food is good enough I just drink water instead. I do 100 weighted push ups every week day, sometimes on a Saturday or Sunday, I do them in the span of 8-11 minutes, I’ve been doing that everyday for the past few months. I’ve gotten gains and it all came down to sacrificing things and being disciplined. It was extremely difficult in the beginning, I failed a few times before I could go on this streak, but I’m starting to believe most things worth the rewards in life weren’t made to be easy. As long as my body sustains itself, and I’m able to keep doing this, I will. It’s not much but it’s better than nothing.
Where can I find an intermediate routine? Former Marine current police officer who has gained a bit since leaving the Corps. Also what's your MOS out of curiosity, former super POG here!
