Feel like the concept art of him doing something with his petals looks really awesome! It's like you originally give mercy wings, but she couldn't fly, now she leans into her design by flying!
Seems like his back petals are wasted as just a aesthetic choice.

honestly I am of Indian descent and having sym in the game is so nice. I got really teary eyed when the thai guy was explaining the hero!! gj blizz
I'm American but I love how they gave Symmetra a Kali skin, it's one of of the best in the game.

My one note is that life grip should use his wing petals during the animation to literally fly them back... maybe some healing buffs if you're kind 🌸💕

? He keeps both training bots alive very easily. Stop watching prerelease streamers and try him out for yourself. 65hp/sec is good. That's almost bap and Ana healing, and you don't need to aim.
@@DNYLNY 65 per shot that slows him, has charge time, travel time, and is single target. There’s a reason Aaron Keller tweeted that they are buffing him already.
Ana and Bap will out heal him, massively out damage him and have easier and arguably more effective forms of utility.

Very cool video, I really like his lore, character design and his gameplay. I love the concept of a plant-powered support.
My only issue is that he should have been named Lotus or Bua as mentioned. I feel that those names would fit way better for him as a official hero name.
Anyways love these type of video when they deep dive into hero creation!

legitimate easy way to help the char , one move dash to space like Hanzo , drop the platform to shift and cancel platform to shift as well . this would make the kit 100 % easier to handle
You forgot immortality and teleportation in his kit
This hero is such a blast to play, so cool to have Thai representation too!
His design is visually interesting, but functionally, he’s the greatest troll pick in the game between Life Grip, and dropping a health pack on death.
Also, his control scheme could use a rework; make his dash a double-jump like Hanzo’s so his healing and shooting can be bound to the mouse buttons instead of separate weapons.
Chiang Mai is the small city of art in the embrace of forest and flower, it's like capital of northern part of thailand. The other part of thailand say that chiangmai's the land of beautiful girl and boy. But with small amount of native people, they're like the elf in the wood.
So i'm not surprise why LW look like flower boy, but i'm surprise that they create a boy, not a girl. Well, still, i love this pretty boy anyway. And i think, his thought and his nature can make him overlook the outside appearance and care more about something inside people's mind. So it make sense that he's pansexual.
He's the great character. But... in the game, if he's really a main healer, please give him that ability. 😂 It's hard to call him 'main healer' now.
I love him! His design and hearing everything about him made me love him even more!

Loved Jeff Kaplan dev updates but I gotta say, now I prefer these ones. Seeing and hearing the devs being so passionate about their game makes me love Overwatch even more

Honestly, you guys did amazing with this one. I love nature healers and I feel like I'm able to save my team a lot more than with just healing. Like with the sleep dart pulls or platforms, I always get a thank you and awesome clutch saves. 😊❤
If yall haven't tried the Winston sling you gotta. Its so much fun. Have life weaver on the lotus platform or on high ground. Then have Winston leap towards you while you look at him and pull him with his ability as Winston leaps and it'll sling him like 3x as far as normal if done right

I love how happy and surprised the guy on the right was that Lifeweaver turned out Thai ❤ Glad to see the Overwatch cast always expanding and always bringing in new countries, it's always so interesting and nice to see 👍
I think dashing by double tapping jump (like Hanzo) would make room to move the platform to Shift and so you can heal with one mouse button and attack with the other.
I love playing lifeweaver and love his overall design its beautiful. I hope to see some buffs and update for him in the future
That thumbnail needs to be a normal legendary non-event non-shop skin
Keybind setup: ‘Next weapon’ bind to right click, peddle platform change to 1, and swap to the needler instead of reloading, fire out 1/2 to a full clip, swap back and keep healing. Just need dash to be dbl tap space bar and I’d love him (of course I’d love alternative fire dmg weapon to be right click DUH DEVS!)
i love hearing these stories and lore but sometimes you just gotta think… do these stories lead to anything? do we get to experience these stories through the pve? cause i mean this whole game is just all the heroes fighting each other over a pushing a car

One thing that really triggers my ocd is how thorns are like red on the hand on the BP skin, but the platform flower and his bullets are still pink. I think it'd be a great touch and increase My interest in the skins if they also had details.
He needs a buff like faster pulse of healing with ult and higher heal for full charge flower

I love this update! The focus on the Thai influence of lifeweaver is so cool, and the little bit about how players will find their own ways of playing him that the developers won't expect is such a nice thing to hear. I think seeing this level of love and respect for the characters that you guys created engenders a positive feeling in the community.

You're asking us to combo his abilities knowing full well we're gonna primarily use it to troll
Please, this is not a main healer. LW’s healing is subpar compared to others. Also, his moveset is very clunky on PC. Please change his thorn volley to alternate fire, petal platform to shift, keep life grip on E, and move his dash to double space bar. This character is underwhelming.

Lifeweaver is secretly one of the human survivors of Neighborville during the traumatic events of PvzGW2 and you cannot convince me otherwise I mean he literally uses Power Lily as his healing primary
Maybe I'm not the most attentive, but I only just realized it can be used with other ults, I thought the teammates being pulled would have their actions canceled
I've already had some goofy interactions with my friend playing him. I played Torb on Pariso and my friend gave me a platform to get to this arch above the first point to put my turret. One of the enemy team members had to switch to Ashe to be able to even get shots off on it, my friend kept platforming me up to repair it, needless to say they never capped and I felt bad lol

How come we can't pull orisa ulting but we can pull reaper and pharah 7:55? Orisa could ult somewhere and life weaver could pull her to the enemys location so that they dont expect it

idk but i would like a support dps, a cyber warrior with the anubis design a egyptian warrior, if he lands one shot(his first shot is a neon sword slash proyectile) the enemy defence is reducced by 10% and the cooldown of the enemies abilities is 0.5 slower and the effect is longer than zenyatta discord orb and if you know how to position you can debuff a lot of enemies, but is a bit hard to land shots because is a proyectile hero, his second fire is to charge bigger atack to debuff more enemies and one of his abilities is to change to a totally support mode who gives overheal to the team in a very short range and his secondary shot can put blue eagles in the map, the blue eagles heals 150 his primary shot changes to a blue orb very fast, the orb gives 20 overhealth when you are in his range for a low time
finally the ultimate is like rammatras ultimate but instead of dealing damage, debuff the enemies defence

How is he a “Main healer” I literally used life grip and charged a 65hp shot only for our rein to get destroyed 🙃
Do not forget the players would rather have him attack with the secondary fire and use his dash like Hanzo (double jump).

What if the character could make tiny flower turrets just like symmetra, but these target teammates and heal them with the homing just like lifeweaver's primary. It makes sense cuz both lifeweaver and sym share backstories and stuff
