I just love this video. Ransom’s excitement and him helping put it together and he’s so patient. Loved hearing Mazzy encouraging him to ride. She did a great job with the video. And of course his big brother always nearby with support and encouragement. I never realized what a hands on boy he was from such an early age, he really liked being right in there and it’s never changed. ❤❤

😁😁😁. AND who says bike for 8 year old when that strong little dude got his confidence and soon was on his own with a smile to light the sky 👍👍. Nope no training wheels momma cus may slow him down a little. That boy was born for this thrill. Ranger looks too big but I’m certain they’ll share for now. And that huge helmet is perfect to protect that precious head. Poor momma really got her exercise running alongside him. Oh and that chuckle from dad coming home to see his brave boy ride by himself. I’ve got that super music stuck in my head now and the incredible picture of a smiling strong 💪 boy so very proud. Sure made my day ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've been looking to get this same bike for my 5yo grandson but wasn't sure he would be big enough. Now I know he will be fine. I might have to get one of the MX650s to ride with him. Thank you for posting this momma Walker!

We are very pleased with the bike. My 4 year old nephew just got one too. He rides it just fine it just goes a little slower cause he’s bigger than Ransom. Ransom will be 4 next month but only weighs 28 lbs. The more you weigh the slower it goes. (On grass anyways.) The MX350 might go a little fast for a 5 year old but he’d for sure grow into it! My grandson is on the small side for his age and pretty thin, even though he eats like a horse. He just learned to ride a bike and my daughter-in-law isn't really thrilled with the idea of a dirt bike either. I figured I'd start him off with the smaller and slower 125 and go from there. I had to agree to also buy him a full set of safety gear to make her OK with it. LOL

All the run'n behind hold'n the bike 4 him is no doubt exhausting, thus is the reason I got a balance bike without training wheels 4 my nephew when he was a mere 16 mo. Now he is ready 4 an E bike motorcycle @ 2 yrs old cuz he can balance on his own on n e terrain. U might wanna consider purchasing a balance bike 4 the boy rather than training wheels 4 the MX125 which will NOT work on grass, gravel, or ruff terrain!! Good luck 2 y'all & have FUN !!
He’s got a balance bike 👍🏻 He rides it no problem. This was day 1 of him figuring it out. Now he’s got a bigger real gas motorcycle.

Just watched this video. It looks like Ransom was born to ride! Gladd to see him wearing a helmet. That was awesome he wanted to were it. FLY makes off road helmets for kids too so you can get one at your local dealer for around $100. We sell them where I work. Enjoy the motorcycle Ransom!

whatever you do, dont let him on the road. I'm proud that kids his age are having this special chance. also, I think his helmet maybe to big. Those dirt bikes dont need actual MX helmets because he can probably go faster on his bike, all he needs is bicycle gear. I only have one other rule: HAVE FUN!!! I know I do on my dirt bike and I wish to show other people the way to happiness like this. He is so lucky.

Only suggestion is on ground like that you have to have your butt off the seat.. or you bounce twice as much as the bike and it goes slower as well..

I measured and the seat is right at 17inches.

I got my first dirt bike when i was 10 now you might disapprove of this but it was the Kawasaki klx110 and it went 55 miles per hour and i rode it on streets and went to gas stations with it to refuel and went to stores to get candy
Bet that was a nice dirt bike to have around. I used to drive the farm truck to the store to get candy when I, Cassie, was a kid. You’d get in big trouble for that now days. 🤣

On website says for 7 and up but it seems small and all videos I can find people are putting 3 and 4 year Olds on it. And I already ordered it for my 6 year olds birthday. He's just about 4 ft tall. Is this going to be to small for him?
If it was my 6 year old, I would order the next size up but all kids are different. The height isn’t the issue it’s the weight cause it slows it way down. Also if he’ll be riding in grass or on concrete. It goes slower in the grass.

We put training wheels on his because he was having trouble taking off and stopping since his legs are so short. You can buy training wheels for them online but they were like $80. We bought everything to make these from Harbor Freight for under $20.

I think you’d need the Razor 350 size at least. This only goes 8 MPH. And when my 9 year old rides it it goes much slower. Razor has several different sizes.

Yes but it barely goes. I’d say an 8 year old needs the next size up. My son has the scooter, he just turned 9, and he rides the scooter just fine. Goes 13 MPH.

For a dirt bike this thing doesn't perform at ALL in the grass. Returning it and getting a 350.
Works great for our son who weighs 30 lbs 👍🏻 but like I showed in the video our older bigger son, it doesn’t do well. He’d for sure need a bigger one.

I bought one for my 6-year-old boy recently and I'm disappointed, they don't have power, they discharge quickly, the truth is I don't recommend it, that 12 volt thing is not good, no.
Razor Electric dirt bikes does not really work on riding grass it’s good on roads.
This one goes on grass if you are small. Bigger children will need the bigger size bike.
