I'm a bike instructor and I see lots of people before a trip to Thailand or Bali..(pre Cov ) They just want to ride a moped before getting there !

I saw something similar at a dealer, new mid life crisis rider and they selling him a crotch rocket he will most likely not make it off the dealer lot
