Stevie saved my life, her albumn , The Wild HearT kept me from suicide. I lost both my parents , breast cancer and chirosis of the liver before I finished High School I came home from school at 18, ( had to repeat 12'th grade) and I found my twin brother dead on the kitchen floor from a heroin overdose. He skipped school that day. I immediately called 911 and tried to save him , he was blue. I've lived through so much pain. I'm proud to say that as a recovering addict of ten years now, I'm going to be 50 in May. I've been married to the love of my life for 25 yrs in August and we share two children, (twins ironically) Lilly and Tyler. There is Light on the other side of Darkness...... Picture it: '84, senior year HS, me on my bedroom floor with big, white headphones on, listing to Wild Heart over and over. She got me through my teenage years. We're both Gemini. One thing kids miss today is the artwork of liner notes. Bella Donna and Wild Heart are masterpieces musically, and in liner notes.
Some people think she is the wild out of control woman that she sometimes portrays on stage, especially in her earlier years. But she is brilliant as a poet and songwriter and performer. She has created a brand for herself and will forever be identified with the legend of Fleetwood Mac.
I remember watching this on tv when Stevie was touring ‘In Your Dreams’ and this is the unedited version which is amazing! I saw this magical concert in Melbourne Australia and was able to hold Stevie’s hand when she did her Edge walk 🙏🏼 One of the best nights of my life 🎵

Good interview. I have to comment about why she said she and Lindsey can’t write together, because I just saw a video of the very thing she’s referring to here. They were working on the song “Thrown Down”. It’s funny because that song’s lyrics have always confused me until Lindsey pointed out her changing her person in the middle of her writing. Now it makes sense! I didn’t take his comment the same as she did. He was suggesting to her when you write, you should try not to change your person. He wasn’t at all telling her what to do. He was suggesting, and I think if it would have been anyone else that said it, she might not have taken it the way she did. She wrote that song about him, he was the one going home in that song, in case anyone else would like to know 😂

He did not in any way force it on her to change the lyrics , he just pointed it out in a very courteous way. But I've seen this incidence repeated in so many videos as an example of him being controlling.
But when he said the comment to her you can see the hurt on her face....she came there to make a record...praise in public ...reprimand or suggest in private...just saying
