The remains of the A4 were found when the engine was stationed in a roundhouse at York which was unluckily the same night a bombing took place from Hitler after bombings in Germany so he attacked York including the Roundhouse with a total of 90 deaths in York from the bombing but the A4 which was known as Sir Ralph Wedgwood had been given the name which replaced its old one but a bomb crashed through the roof of the roundhouse blowing it to pieces and leaving the A4 in debris which the engine was pulled out and put on the rails which is where that image most likely comes from but these are real photos of british bombings
