I love how they kept the live performance organic and went with live play instead of using digital samples.
Most underrated part of this that I haven't seen anyone point out is that they used the intro from the song they sampled (Could Heaven Ever Be Like This by Idris Muhammad) for their live version

Maybe this is me just being too cynical / ignorant, but i find it hard to believe the sounds we're hearing are really coming from that midi xylophone. Is the sound from live play or is just from the pre-recorded track? If it's live than damn they're talented and in-sync.
They're in sync because of ableton I think, I can tell you there's some tiny tiny rythm mistakes when he's playing the midi xylophone so it's really live don't worry

nah hes right.. there are still live aspects but there are some things being played back.
Take the tambourine for instance. Looking at how that dude is shacking the actual tamberine there is no way that he is creating the exact dynamics and tone that you are hearing. Not to mention how it sounds EXACTLY as it does on the recorded version.
