  • Hi
    I hope you're well.
Here's a vlog from one of my favourite local places, the small nature reserve at Ormesby Little Broad, a few miles from my hometown of Great Yarmouth.
I've already done two vlogs from here but it is such a lovely place to keep re-visiting, especially at present where I have limited my travel to just a select few locations.
I'm not going to run on here about the shoot, no one probably reads these intro things anyway. What I do want to do is wish you all the best for next year, let's just hope that things will change for the better when they are ready to. If Christmas is you're thing, have a good one.
    take care, stay safe
    love
    Jon

Just discovered your vlogs, Jon, and I really enjoy both your style of presenting and the photography. Some beautiful, warm images on here.

I prefer the warmer shots. And that last photo of just the leaves on the black background? Amazing.

I recently discovered your excellent vlogs and stumbled upon one where you almost pleaded for comments, Winterton I think? I also notice you've not vlogged in a long time and I'm hoping you've not given up! I find your videos a refreshing change from from the globetrotting supposed 'A-listers'. You have an gregarious enthusiasm for your local area and this helps you produce beautiful images from scenes that most would walk straight past. Your style of presenting is friendly and engaging and I think I always come away from watching you with a little more than I started with. Keep it up mate!

Hi Richard. Many thanks for those comments. I haven't given up on yt, it has just taken a backseat for obvious reasons as has my photography. Back soon (ish!). :)

Thanks a lot bud. I don't have a 70-200 anymore so it's a but annoying for stuff like this but in all honesty a slight crop on the sensor is fine.

Happy Christmas Jon. A wonderful vlog. Woodland photography is a genre I need to work on. I find it a challenge to say the least. Good to see you've mastered the art :)

and to you bud. As you well know, woodland is not my thing but I do find a concentrated few shoots in a row is a big help. As for mastered!!!!!!!!!!

Morning Captain G. I hope you and yours are well.
I’m going against trend and will say warm rather than blue in that shot!
Anytime you fancy an early morning ( or dusk if you like ) middle of the water shoot, give me a shout and I’ll Chuck you in my boat. I’ve never done Ormsby broad before ! It’s a great way of getting the views others can’t reach.... in a Heineken kinda way 🤪
    Great work as usual! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
