Also snowglobes are dangerous, often businesses put anti-freeze in the water to keep it from freezing/expanding during shipping so the glass doesn't break. If the globe gets knocked over, breaks and spills all the water, your cat can lick it up and develop fatal kidney failure.
Also, automatic recliners are dangerous as well. Sometimes while they're open a cat will crawl underneath in the little underside cavity it creates (because cats LOVE little hidey holes). If it's accidentally closed back up with poor kitty inside, they can get fatally crushed by the metal gear system.
And of course there are so many kinds of common plants to watch out for, from holly and mistletoe to lilies and tulips.
Mine seem to only like batting and carrying them, but it's good to know I should watch for any biting/swallowing behavior.
thank you, can you please make a PSA about lily toxicity?
Great idea! Will consider it for the future.
They love small paper balls. They chase them. One cat fetches them. I crinkle a receipt and it captures their attention.
I had no idea! Thanks!
I don't let my cats play with them because of the noise, glad to know I'm not just being a jerk!
so many horrible things going on with eggs and human food. i only feed my cat fancy feast cause no recalls 😭😭😭😭
Feline natural is a good quality food with no recalls.
My girl likes bottle caps, particularly while they are still on bottles. I've been tempted to use a non-toxic glue to secure one on a tiny bottle for her.
Saw an x ray of a cat with bottle cap in its belly.
My cat's favorite toy - is a wine cork)))
I’m glad my cat doesn’t like to play with bottle caps. She’s more into chasing chasing balls and light reflections.
My cat likes to bat them around and then try rubbing against them :,)
Mallory ❤️
My cats are smart enough not to eat those lol
I was thinking the same thing. Can’t imagine a cat trying to eat one. Lol
@@danielrice5474 yeah me either tbh.
@@danielrice5474 it’s not about them trying to eat it, but more when they are chasing it, cats tend to bite at bottle caps resulting in the edges getting caught in there teeth.
*cat eating bottle cap* this is some gourmet shit
@@RattyTails I see what you mean. My cats never put them in their mouth at least not yet. They just kick it all over the place
Well your advice is worthless to me since my cat will ONLY play with a certain color and size of bottle cap. It's just insane to me how much she loves this thing compared to all the other toys I have.
Same applies to collars with small bells , small bouncing balls, hair ties. So many things we just do not think of, because well, we thought all cats are super duper wise and wouldn't play with dangerous things.
Why would we think cats are super wise?
