The more I play the more I think they've reached their climax with their technology for gameplay, the core foundations of it is just the same mechanical non-realistic movements since FIFA 16 or so. It isn't going to change unless they take 4-6 years to stop releasing money grabs and really touch up on their foundation.

Fifa 17 is the BEST LOOKING FIFA! That had a REAL ORIGINAL frostbite, and not these DOWNGRADES! FIFA 17 looked like a REAL AAA game! This is crazy. This game here looks like FIFA 09 in some elements!
I was thinking of Fifa 07. At least the players. The graphics and animations look very very outdated! Lack of competition and clients who buy the product anyway, i guess. Also a pity, that PES hat stopped.

My man, remember fifa 97 clone players?, i was asking myself the same, crab walk, floaty feets, looks like a laggy mmo displacement sometimes. Natural leaning, inertia and feet placement makes 80% of reading and anticipation in football, this looks unplayable to me.

It's a horrible game, the game's coloring and shadows on faces are disappointing, player movements don't even come close to feeling real. There are moments where players appear to be skating on grass, as if floating. One second the ball is at the player's foot and the next it is 3 meters in front of him. This game has too many bugs!
I prefer to play PES 2021, the gameplay is superior, the pace of the game is very pleasant to play, the physics are much more real. FIFA is a posing game.

I played FIFA since FIFA 97 and all the decade after and then stopped. Amazes me to see to this day those movements of the player with the ball are still jerky and out of sync as ever, just the framerate is higher

I tried the game before 2 months and i had a huge bug with the controllers.I want to buy it now(only 21 euros from steam with 70% discount)but i don't now if the problem exists.
The bug is in the local friendly games with my brother:one controller is perfectly fine but the other refuse to save the button settings and is so frustrating to play.

Why the players are sliding instead of running. Is it so hard to animate running properly. It has been over 30 years and EA couldn make a proper player run animation. Thats why soccer games sucks

Wow, I'm certainly not caring about poor graphics if a game is fun to play, but this looks pretty ancient. Shadows, physics, grass = awful, I mean awful for '23. Don't mean to diss, I'm looking forward to playing it, but it's just really poorly done. The players resemble Sims 4 quality of textures and physics aka movements. Disappointing.

I don't understand how FIfa and even Pro Evolution Soccer were such great games and now they're worst at every new version. Why does the gameplay sucks so much? Shouldn't be near perfection by now? I mean, how in earth is it so BAD? Why does the players move so erractly? Why do they move like they're string puppets? Football games used to be so much fun.
