Some 20+ years ago an old man wanted me to go into a church and I said no. My mistake was that I started explaining why and he got mad to the point I was uninvited by him... and 'expelled' from my own country as only christians are true Polish people (what a closed-minded b-s). Of course, no hands were put up to fight but it showed me how hypocritic those 'soldiers of love' are. However, your podcast is very much like a proper sermon to those who have grown sick and tired of box religions. Let me tell you that these down to earth (yet high in values) monologues give such direct messages and influence so much by precision and comprehensiveness that even though I don't want any and I'll oppose all persuasion attempts even remotely casted at me, you level up my spirit. Thanks. I feel it's something real this time.

@@jeanboshears6689 Yes, but only for those who believe in the dogma, who get trapped in the box. The Creator is certainly IN the box . . . and IS the box, and OUTSIDE of it, as well. Unfortunately, some can't see it . . . . but in due time.

Last night I looked up the sermon on the mount for the 1st time, and just when I was thinking I need to join a church to do some bible study to understand the teaching of Jesus, then today I come across your videos and I am so happy. Just when I was thinking of how to find the actual source, here you are. Seek and you will find 😊

It just dawned on me that you are doing the same work you did 2,000 years ago! spreading the true teachings of Jesus. The good news, that we have nothing to fear. We are loved. We are empowered. All is well. Now go and love one another (as he has loved ). Thank you for helping this former Catholic to sort through the mixed messaging of the church and Bible.

Yeah, those few who didn't like what you said, it does come with the territory. I feel more comfort and love from you than ANY "born again" Christian I've ever come across. I used to be one. I still get hassled. A few I was once close to just can't stomach how I changed my views. I had my reasons for abandoning it. At the end of the day, I just see things differently. Even before learning many things from scholar Bart Erhman, I had already began thinking differently. It's typical in belief systems, they feel like you're a traitor. That's a human selfish/fearful pride thing. But they'll never admit it. Thanks for your vids John, I just LOVE listening to you, my friend!

I'm glad I found you...I'm yet to find answers to unique things, which all these years I've kept to myself, and no one has been able to answer. Like having visions of being present in a dark cave and witnessing a grubby group of men huddled around a shabby wooden box all pushing each other's hand away, just so that they could touch what was wrapped in white linen and inside the box. Then to find myself in front of a large, bearded man dressed in typical Hebrew garment, who looked afraid but was attentive to what I was saying...yet I couldn't hear what was being said, only a name being called that I couldn't make out. One thing I noted straight after the visions, was I woke feeling on top of the world and being so happy.

Absolutely, Christians can be ¨holier than thou¨ and sanctimonious; it sickens me when I see this. They aren´t fooling anybody; most folks are smarter than to fall for that. Some fake concern to try to extract information too, which is really despicable. Thanks so much John!!

This is good, John. This may seem a bit odd to some. But, to me, your painting of Yeshua behind you resonates through you in your videos. His love and caring manifests in and through your thoughts, words, and deeds. Your "buddy" is in the room as you speak. And, that simply is love. Love is why we are here. Love is literally who we are, who we always were and who we always will be. And, so it is. 😌🙏❤️

I remember once as a kid when I was maybe 5 or 6 not wanting to go to church. I got hit with a belt so hard I started bleeding. Learned how to lie after that. Ever since then it’s always been in the back of my mind that it wasn’t in my best interest to tell religious people the truth especially family. As much as people say they want us to be honest with them, certain things they can’t handle it. Religion is one of them. I didn’t feel how they felt, I just had more and more questions that caused problems when asked. Can only hear how it’s the devil working when you ask things about what’s being forced onto you. My fault for not being able to just blindly follow.

@@therecoveringcatholic It is what it is, it was my experience. I got from it, what only I could. Showed me that the recipe they use is love, guilt, and fear. Like our laws are backed up by force, the love they preach is backed up by guilt and fear. That's not real love. I knew early on that I was sinning (lying) one way or another because I was just going along because I was told to or felt that I had to, not because I really wanted to. I like how how simply question if something sounds loving, it's the easiest way to cut through the none sense. A lot doesn't.

Thank you, John for sharing your experiences and your wisdom. I truly believe that you were with Jeshua. I don't know if you were John the Beloved - there are others that make that claim including John Van Auken who was purportedly verified by A.R.E. So who knows. I find validity in your words and in your heart. I was told in an Akashic record reading that I was there in the time of Jeshua as a Roman Soldier and was hanging around Jeshua and was tapped to keep people from rushing Jeshua. Apparently I didn't do a very good job of that because I became so entranced by his words. I was there at the crucifixion and, as a soldier, having seen much blood and torture, was not so disturbed by the crucifixion but was listening to his words and contemplating the meaning of this event. Again, who knows what's true but I do feel like I was there in some capacity.

Hence verse 24 about serving the two masters, God, the light Who is loving and caring and the Mammon; the money or actually selfishness.

Hi John, thanks again for all the work you do to help us along the path to understanding Jeshua’s message. I have a question: in another video, you mentioned how lovingly you were received by others in another country whereas another American man said everyone wanted to fight him, and you then said that after a few moments or minutes (I forgot the time period) you said you felt like you wanted to fight him too. Can you explain in a little more detail how this man’s belief system was able to affect or “rub off” somehow onto you? A separate video of how empathic you are also feels related somehow and I’m not sure how exactly, but I’d like to hear about your thoughts on this as I had a longterm “houseguest” who seemed to be having that effect on everyone he ever lived with, and I started to feel a weird, pervasive anger as well start to erupt in me around this person. I just find it weird their story is that everywhere they live they keep “finding gaslighting and passive aggressive people” and I’m direct and don’t consider myself to fit this mold… every per son they live with? This person moves every 7-9 months or so… and I’m baffled. I feel weird energetic disturbances i don’t completely understand around this person, and would love your thoughts on this as I finally asked them to leave. Remarkably, as their attention turned elsewhere, the entire environment in my home started to feel much much more peaceful again, like “whew! Back to normal!” Thanks ahead of time for your insight if you feel like answering this question:).

John I have a question. So I do a lot of things for other people and feeding less fortunate and all. But one day I just decided I would post about cause I grew up in a Christian home where good works are supposed to be done in private. One day I decided to post me giving away pizzas to the homeless people to the group I was involved in not with the intention to gain recognition but to try to inspire others to start doing the same. The post exploded and over a thousand people liked the post which meant nothing to me but what really made me feel complete about it is that there were about 80 comments of people saying that the post had inspired them to also go out and do the same. Of course I was torn by this because I got absolutely no fulfillment from the number of likes or the comments praising me but I really only felt fulfilled when I would read someone’s comment that said they had been inspired to do the same or something similar. What is your view? Recovering Christian

  • @christelting1359

One of my hiccups with nominal pop Christianity is doing good or being good to go to heaven. That is doing a nice thing for the wrong reason. You do good things or the right thing because they are good.
Same with how you live your life. If you would do evil save for your belief in God and heaven/hell then you are not good.
On the other hand I do think God will see you when you choose not to do evil for fear of him. But that does not make you good.

      M. Scott Peck The Road Less Travelled discusses this. The meaning is similar to those that have an easy life have a harder time growing spiritually than those with harder times (camel through an eye of a needle). Going with the flow to appear righteous to the majority will gain you nothing (broad vs narrow gate). John of New has no dogma, your spiritual journey is yours and yours alone, follow it and then become that beacon of light so that others will create their own beacons and light this world.
