it made me so happy when you used your influence to better the environment by not mentioning where you got the fast fashion clothes but instead telling your audience that the same or very similar clothes can be found on depop or in other 2nd hand stores for cheaper and it will be sustainable ❤️ i really appreciate that and i really hope more people use their platform and influence like you do 🤍🤍

I cannot recommend going on an exchange enough! I'm doing a semester in Finland right now (I'm from the Netherlands) and it is without a doubt the best time of my life✨ It's something that you definitely wouldnt regret!
Oh regarding the costs, you can make it as expensive as you want. It doesn't have to cost that much more than living at your uni right now!

Hi, I'm also from The Netherlands, may I ask what you're studying? And are you studying the same study in Finland? I have the opportunity to do a semester abroad next year as well and I'm in the process of deciding what to study abroad :))
@@evelienproductions406 hey yes of course! I study health sciences at home and here in Finland (uef) I could just select random courses that interested me, so it wasn't a set program. I chose mostly public health related courses which is similar yet still a bit different from my bachelor. The workload is in my opinion a bit lower than in the Netherlands which means more time for trips and other fun stuff 🤗

What will you study?
Did my year abroad in Seville and Budapest and it was without a doubt the best decision I made. Found two new cities to fall in love with, met some amazing friends, grew so much as a person and learnt so so much x

I’m a fourth year econ at the uni and can say that 3rd year at Edi Uni is def the hardest year + everyone loves their year abroad so highly recommend

Your Edinburgh vlogs make me so happy. I lived there for a year 2 years ago and miss it so much. Also, if you are looking for more sustainable labels you should look up the green labels :) all their brands are sustainable. It‘s rly quite expensive but if you ever wanna treat yourself or sth they have beautiful items

Junior year is the worst so hang in there! But uni can be really packed too depending on what you are interested in doing :)

Kahlan where are you from ? It’s not called a school at all in Scotland and therefor it isn’t a school as it’s a Scottish Uni. If you want to come you should call it what it is :)
@@caram6073 you said "not school" as though she were wrong. either is applicable- americans call school "uni" here as well, so why does it matter? the message gets across, does it not? americans don't say "it's a school, not a uni". the message gets across well enough to us.
i related so much to this lol i’m from edinburgh and i want to go to the university of edinburgh when i leave school. when you mentioned the deliciously ella podcast i went crazy because i’ve been listening to her podcast recently and i’m really enjoying it as well!

loved this video and how positive you were in it! also, i really think you should consider studying abroad it's such a good way to travel, learn about another culture (and language depending on the place) and you grow so much by living in a new place!! it can be scary but you won't regret it :)

I recently graduated from Edinburgh uni and I did a year abroad. HIGHLIGHT of my degree. If you have any doubt, please consider it! Edinburgh uni have been fantastic helping me settle in and the student community are fantastic on giving you tips. I really miss living abroad and it’s given me the confidence to consider career options abroad!
i did exchange and it was the best decision of my life !! not only did i get the experience of living in a new place but the people you will meet will be the best you EVER meet !! everyone is so like-minded and from all over the world. i now have best friends in what feels like every corner of the world. and even if for some reason you didn't enjoy your time, it's so temporary !! it's like the training bra of living overseas - such a good opportunity but if it's not for you then you're not stuck there xxx
I don't know if it's too late now for deciding about your year abroad but I would 100000% recommend it! I'm currently on my year abroad in Mexico and I'm loving it so much!
