I can't even wrap my mind around the level of pre-planning this book requires.....to achieve the perfection of how each pages' wave compliments the one before and after. (apparently I can't even wrap my mind around how to describe it either) =)
It is truly a work of art in every sense of the word. From the multiple techniques and materials, to the perfect placement of images behind translucent pages. Fabric arts, colour choices, dyeing and blending.....I'm overwhelmed by your skills. It's amazing.
Absolutely THE most gorgeous journal I have ever seen.
(I had to hit replay immediately after the first viewing. So much detail to take in....I'm in awe.)

I agree with everything you have said about this artist. Wow I’m crying my eyes out I wanna get and I will as soon as I figure out how to purchase from my phone I don’t know how to accomplish that yet

My husband passed away a year and a half ago after 42years of a magical marriage.
The most romantic man I’ve ever dreamed of now I’m all alone and not sure how to hold on to only every day of thoughts .
I have to have a book Iv always journaled all my life and I’m 72years old
Absolutely one of the most beautiful junk journals I have ever seen
I have special ties to the ocean and the mermaid journal went straight to my heart. You remind me of a precious aunt. She loved nature,the arts and every thing beautiful. She lived in a woodland area she named Forgotten Forest in a log cabin built by her husband and his brothers, and filled with lovely antiques and rugs left to her by her parents. Sounds strange, but they complimented each other, the ornate against the simple. She was well read and wrote a newspaper column free lance. She greatly influenced me. It is so special to be reminded of her when watching you and your talents on youtube. Thank you.

If a mermaid had a journal...I love the way you have of looking at things. This really appealed to me because of the beautiful colors and papers you created. The washed-up mermaid really tickled me too.

My God ..... You have the most beautiful journals .... and I've seen a lot of journals here on YT. But your journals are among the best.
Jibid you are very gifted in every craft you turn your hand to. You have a rare quality of not only imagining how you want a theme to look but actuality making those dreams a reality. You have created a palette of blues any Impressionist painter would have been proud of and the ebb and flow of your silver tipped page edges, look every bit like white horses glinting in the sunlight. You take us down beneath the sea into a world of sea horses, shells scattered like broken necklaces along the sea bed and faint echoes of mermaids sighing as they wait for eternity for their one true love, ever watchful, of course for the fearsome giant prawn :-)
Once again, my favourite poem makes an appearance, how can it not, its colours and dreamlike images are perfect for this theme.
Your mind must be full of ideas just waiting to be explored, developed and produced. I'm not at all surprised that you want to spend your time on that. I am so excited about your upcoming tutorial. I have long wondered how you do your paper inking. I am so inexperienced in anything like that. I have a suspicion you will be much better at doing tutorials than you give yourself credit for :-) You have a lovely voice and a comfortable relaxed manner and if the odd thing doesn't go exactly as planned, as far as I'm concerned that in itself is a useful part of the learning process. This has absolutely got to be one of, if not my very favorite journal!!!! It is stunning! (It doesn’t hurt that I am a lover of all things of the sea, and turquoise, aquas and ocean colors are my favorite!). But, your dying and inking techniques are so beautiful, as well as design, and stitching, page edges, and creativity. I’m in love!

I spent my youth in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Trip's to the beach was a treat for me. We didn't live by the ocean, but I could see it off in the distance. This book reminds me of that special time.
As always, I would not be able to start writing in this book . It is so beautiful. Lucky lady who gets it .

What a beautiful journal. It is just magical. The inked pages and the way you tore the edges to look like waves makes feel as if I could almost reach out and touch water. You are such a talented person and we are all so lucky to experience your art. When you said you were going to make an announcement, I was so afraid you were going to tell us you had decided not to share your wonderful journals on CZcams any longer. New subbie here for about two or three weeks and I knew instantly that I was viewing special artistry. Love everything I have seen. All works of Nature, Botanicals,Mountains and Forests and the Sea as well as literature and quotes and sewing appeal to me greatly and I like to incorporate some of those influences in my personal crafts but you truly have a gift for that. heheh I saw a comic once, on tumblr, about the prawns being the cockroaches of the sea. The mermaid was always scared of them in the comic, so maybe that's why xD
Hi Jibid, If I ever was talented and creative enough to make a book like this, it wouldn't leave my house! It would forever live on my coffee table for others to flip through and enjoy. Maybe, someday, when I get my studio sorted out and everything in a place where I can readily find it, I'll make my own version of this. I'll need to watch more videos before I ask you any questions.
