This intake keeps getting clogged with grass !
But looking online for a solution to this problem I decided to share with you my findings.
I was having trouble with this ATV, like engine overheating problems.
But hopefully this video will guide you on the correct path if you're searching an answer to How to fix this issue or if you didn't know what the screen was.
I saw people online asking stuff like, what is this? and pointed to the intake mesh.
This video shows how others are correction and finding a solution for this problem.
Some people call these kits "intake kit".

Thanks for the tip, not much info on the little design flaws like this on the 170 to look out for, so this helps in knowing what little mods to do before giving one of these to the kids. Definitely looking forward to anything else you might have found out about these little things while using it.

Wow good video I'll def be checking ours TODAY 👊 Update. Checked mine it was pretty rough. Also checked air box and that intake screen is between the seats and it was caked in mud worse then the bottom one. Highly recommend everyone check that out as well.

I fit in it, but it's not mine, it's what my kids ride when we all go out riding.
My mom bought me one I’m 6’2 and I use it 😂 🤦🏻♂️ it’s lit tho
