We fell in love absolutely head over heels in love with the people culture and the whole experience. We are going back in September and hiring a car and touring kosovo for 10 days . It would be an honor to visit Kosovo. Most articles note the friendly and hospitable people as one of the reasons to visit, along with its nature, cuisine and affordability. Travel is a lesson in history, culture and geo-politics.
Thank you for sharing. There are so many places in the world that I'm interested in that I know people close to me would say "why would you go there? What's there to see?" But that's what the open mind is for. Or just being open to new experiences and different points of view. Just because it's not "the place" to go doesn't mean it's not just a rich in history and culture as other places.
I landed in Pristina and rented the vehicle from there. I drove south to Macedonia and then headed back north in Albania. I returned the vehicle in Tirana

Yeah trying to figure that out beforehand with visiting Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, etc… in 2 weeks was hard logistically to make sure we wouldn’t get stranded. I think making it simple is the way to go though, there was a common theme of “I wish I could have had more time here to visit”

Oh good! I feel like A LOT of CZcamsrs miss the most fascinating parts of a country more often than not - THE HISTORY! It really is what shapes all the cultures in so many ways. Also YES! We took a 1500 mile roadtrip through the Baltics, Albania was included :) we even stayed in an Ethno farm in the mountains and was one of my favorites tbh.
October 2022 but went to so many countries it’s just taken me AWHILE 😅 to edit all the videos, write the articles and edit the photos with my full time job
@@CultureTrekking so you were there like a month before me. I totally understand how long and how much effort it takes to edit them. You are probably faster than me because I did not even start working on the photos and videos from North Macedonia, Albania and Greece in that same trip from November
