I love the way reel mowers cut! They cut very cleanly, and if you have a bumpy yard, it rarely leaves scalps. I’ve been using a manual one for two years and I’ve been looking for something like this for my small yard. My front yard is only 900 ft.². I’m actually kind of bummed that more of these real mowers aren’t being produced and or sold in the US. They cut so much cleaner and nicer.
I know I love this little mower for just my front lawn area I will be using this all season for small lawns reel mowers are the way to go and now the battery ones have gotten way better it’s perfect
@@Gear_Now You know I just thought about something. How do you sharpen the blades? Like for my Scott’s I just take off the wheel and spin it backwards with that metal arm and gunk that you put on the blades.

Now that's it is grass growing season again, how well do you like this reel mower since you've had time to test it against a heavier growing period?
like I said its best for small yard like say a condo/apartment etc. I only knock my front area down with this time to time I use gas mower on my back and it's still holding up good for me

How long does the battery last, meaning, how much square footage does it cover? I've got roughly 5,000 sq ft of yard, with about a 60/40 front/back split, and it would be great to know if I can do the job in one charge or not. Thanks!
I just use this on my front yard only which is small I get 2 mows out of it before needing a charge

Yeah I seen the reviews and there is some knowledge with this I get it sharpened the blades and I actually put mine under the lowest setting it still works fine these are for small yards you can get one double the price and will be better I use my gas mower in the back my house and the reel one in the lot in the front and I used it last week actually and still does the job

Why batteries? Batteries are bad for the environment. Just get a good quality manual reel.
I think both have their uses
