I think she was going for the less slapstick Elle approach... she looked like "serious" Elle already. I have a feeling she tweaked this performance over time.

Guys stop hating on the actress! She was fabulous as Glinda and one not-so-great performance doesn’t equate to a “horrible” and “atrocious” performer. Please try and give constructive criticism instead of throwing out insults.

I think this just wasn't her best performances, because I saw the show and when I saw it she did it amazingly.
I love the dance moves at 2:00! Especially with Elle trying to keep up lol. I've always felt like dancing at that part.
