This is such a simple beat but somehow it communicates something sad or deep, something that I used to have a long time ago but then lost. In addition the lyrics is repetitive and circles around a feeling that is hidden deep in me, and this song does not show me this hidden thing, feeling or memories, but only reminds me of his existence.

A friend of mine worked with him years ago and introduced me to the his music, still amazing today.
My oh my, how time has passed away... I was about 7 or 8 when this came out, discovered it a while ago here on CZcams but with a low quality. Now I've seen that this great track was uploaded in better quality. Makes me miss the time around 1999/2000 when everything seemed easier and not so strange as it does today.
I heard this for the first time at the science center in Toronto in the music room on a music machine . Finally found it again!

My family has always been very hippie surfer and Volkswagen camper van type of family. I must have been 2 years old or 3 years old back in 2004 or 2005 when I first heard this song while my aunt and uncle drove me in their camper van playing this song on the way to the beach. That moment I hold so precious in my heart even though I was so young and barely remember I can remember bouncing up and down and thinking what a song. It really gives me a high on life.
