In The whole Old Testament, God is singular. People fall to Jesus’s feet and worship him and not once does he point away from himself. He always receives the worship. Like when Thomas said “my Lord and my God”. In John 14 Phillip said to Jesus, “show us the father”, and Jesus said “oh Phillip, I’ve been with you this whole time and you still don’t see me?”
With respect. If anyone worshipped Jesus, both Jesus and the worshipers would have been put to death by the Jews.
The Jews wouldn't have needed to cook up charges to put Jesus to death.
The word worship means several things depending on the context.
Love means several things depending on the context.
Love for God, for spouse, children, pet and good food doesn't mean that same thing.
The proper yardstick is to read the book of Acts and the other letters to the Christian Congregations. In none of these would we find any DISCIPLE of Jesus worshipping Jesus.

Oneness advocates argue that the passage is teaching that the prophesied Messiah, Jesus Christ, is the Eternal Father. Aside from the fact, that nowhere in the NT is Jesus ever called “Father,” there are several flaws in this kind of modalistic interpretation:
1. Oneness teachers commit the fallacy of equivocation by asserting that the term “father” has only one meaning. The term father (ab) has various meanings in the OT, depending on the context.
2. When the term father is applied to God (or YHWH) in the OT (only nine times), it denotes His parental character to His children, namely, Israel (e.g., Isa. 63:16). Primarily though, the usage of father denoted God as Creator. As a matter of fact, the term “father” is not even a standard recurring title for God in the OT; it is used only nine times.
3. The word translated name (shem) as in His name will be called (shem + qara) was not a formal title for God, but rather it denoted the essence or essential characteristics of who someone is (cf. Young, Commentary on the Book of Isaiah, 1972: 331).8 This was clearly the Semitic concept of name. Hence, as to the essence and character of the Messiah, He is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.
4. Along with the primary meaning of Creator, the term father correspondingly carries the idea of possessor or founder, as with His creation. For example, 2 Samuel 23:31 speaks of Abialbon, which name means father (or possessor) of strength, strong one. Exodus 6:24 speaks of a man named Abiasaph, whose name means father of gathering, he who gathers. Thus, the Messiah is ab of eternity, that is, possessor of eternity. Richards further explains:
The key word for father in the Bible is ab. It occurs 1,191 times in Hebrew and 9 times in Aramaic form. It is a complex word. Although it usually indicates a literal father or grandfather, it may also be used as a title of respect for a governor or prophet or priest. . . . Ab is also used to indicate the founder of a guild. Thus Ge 4:21 identifies Jubal as father of all who play the harp and flute, i.e., he was the first musician. . . . It is probable that the title Everlasting Father ascribed to Messiah by Isaiah (Isa 9:6) is better understood as father of eternity, i.e., founder of the ages..9
5. Syntactically, the Hebrew term father precedes the word translated eternal (lit. father eternal) indicating the eternal nature of the Messiah. The Aramaic Targums reveal this thought well:
For us a child is born, to us a son is given . . . and his name will be called the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, existing forever [or He who lives forever ]. The Messiah in whose days peace shall increase upon us 10.
6. There has never been a Jewish commentator, Rabbi, or Christian scholar or writer that has interpreted Isaiah 9:6 as Oneness teachers do. Beisner dismantles the Oneness exegesis here simply by pointing out that “I am a father, but I am not my father.” Oneness teachers must prove that Jesus is specifically called the “Father” of the Son of God (i.e., His own Father). Isaiah 9:6 only calls Him father of eternity.11

The early Church and founding fathers, the Apostles, never taught on oneness or the trinity but the Godhead.
And Jesus is the fulness of the Godhead, all 3 in 1.
Jesus was separated from the Father, which He Begotten, and sent Him in His name to dwell among men and to save the world.
Jesus is the Holy Spirit because He has the power to give life, in every capacity and He is the Father because the essence of God doesn't change. There is none beside Him nor is there any before Him.

While the SPIRIT OF GOD dwelled in Jesus, the two of them were ONE. So when you saw Jesus you saw GOD. While on the cross, GOD came out of Jesus, so only Jesus died. GOD then went on to preach to the dead, while Jesus was sleep in the grave. On the third day, GOD raised Jesus’ lifeless body and transformed it. HE then got back in the body and the two became one again. 🙏🏽

His nature is Divine being born of the same Spirit that impregnated his mom Mary.
Jesus obeyed His Father who sent him.
Christ manifested thus revealed the nature of God which helped us to understand God better - a loving Father who has our best interest at heart.
Sin requires a sacrifice. A sinful person cannot be the sacrifice for sin. There's no hope.
Jesus, the sinless one died for our sins. A sinless man died for sinful humanity. And he rose again to give that hope of life after death as result of sin.
This act of God sending His Son, to die and be resurrected is Grace!
We cannot buy it nor do we deserve anything else but death.
The Father through His Love for us gave us this Gift called Grace!
We have 2 choices. The default is to reject it and die without hope.
Or, we accept it by repentance and believing that Jesus' testimony. That is to accept as Truth that there's One God, the Father who sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ (born in the flesh); and that His Father sent Him(to manifest the Father, and to die a sinless death so that by his death our sin may be eternally forgiven). And by his resurrection we have the hope of Eternal Life( a new life even after death)!
Jesus Christ is the '2nd Adam' as his mission is to restore what the '1st Adam' damaged - the image of God in us!
For successfully completing that mission he is extolled and elevated! He is even crowned!
Jesus is literally what we can aspire to be!
Jesus is part of the Godhead. He is Divine yet he is still man!

I'm sure you understand throughout this chapter is Paul speaking. Try to understand what Paul is saying, again without prejudices.
Paul begins 1st Corinthians chapter 2, by picking up a train of thought he left behind in the middle of chapter 1. There he wrote that Christ did not send him to preach the gospel in Corinth with words of eloquent wisdom.
To do so would risk emptying the cross of Christ of its power.
I could go on with more of what Paul was saying, or meant, and will if you want me too. But, read the 2nd chapter, the whole thing. Its not much for a whole chapter. If you feel the same way. I can put together chapters to justify why I made such a bold statement.

Where he is confused is in that he believes we say that God is a being, as he insists to tell us, what we also believe, that God is a Spirit but Jesus is a person and if Jesus is God, if God is in Jesus then God is a person
I want to add a few simple but powerful points that help validate Yeshua's deity (or that He is GOD):
1) If Yeshua, the Son, is a created being, that would mean there was a time in eternity past when the Father was NOT the Father - clearly implying He DOES change.
2) Most believers agree that the SON of God is the EXACT image and representation of the FATHER- or that the nature of the Son and Father are NO different. If this is true, Yahweh would be incorrect when He said in Isaiah 46 "To whom would you liken Me, and make Me equal and compare Me, that we should be alike?.....I am God and there is NO ONE like Me" (and many other places He says such words). If the Father DOES have someone who is exactly LIKE Him (the Son), but He and the Son are two separate beings or entities, then we are all idolators - and even the FATHER would be guilty of idolatry because He made Yeshua's Name to be above ALL names - not just on earth, but in HEAVEN where Yahweh Himself dwells (Phil.2:10-11)! If there is a distinctly separate being, "god" or angel who shares the exact same qualities/nature of Yahweh, then He cannot possibly be unique or distinct from all other beings, creatures, or gods, and He CAN have equals or others to which He can be compared. The issue of idolatry leads to the next point.......
3) Yeshua said in John 8:58, “Before Abraham was born, I Am.” If we say He was just representing God and speaking as or for God as God’s agent (referring to the cultural law of agency), why would the people want to kill Him for that? And why didn’t Yeshua set the record straight by making it clear that He was only speaking on behalf of God and representing Him, rather than identifying with His essence and Being? There was no law against representation, but there was a law against blasphemy, precisely for which He was accused. He also said in John 8:24,28,13:19, “Unless you believe that I am [He], you will die in your sins; When you lift up the Son of Man, you will know that I am [He]; I am telling you this now, before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe that I am [He].” Most Bibles insert and italicize the word, “He” after, “I am,” indicating that “He” was not in the original manuscripts. The word “He” was added for readability and to conform to standard grammatical rules. Even if the word, “He” was in the original writings, this statement is still a clear reference to and identification with God’s words in verses like Isaiah 43:10, “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “My servant who I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He.”
4) Yahweh or the Father says we are to only worship, serve and follow HIM (Deut.6:14,13:4; I Kings 18:21; Rev.22:9) - but many times Yeshua speaks of us following and serving HIM, and all throughout the New Testament we see people worshipping YESHUA - and says that if the Son be lifted up, He would draw all people to HIM (although we only come to the Father through Him). Yes, many interpret "worship" as "obeisance" (as the JW's do), but I won't delve into that here.
Why didn't Yeshua come right out and say, "I am GOD - worship Me!"? He obviously could have done so, but in order for Him to fulfill His purpose in coming, He purposefully kept the revelation and truth of who He was “under tabs” to some level because had He not chosen to refrain from fully and bluntly revealing His identity, it would have shocked and offended His audience to the core - even more than He already had. He was already accused of blasphemy when He indirectly claimed equality with God or that He is God by saying He is God’s “Son” (John 5:18, 10:31). Being blunt and not keeping the truth partially veiled would have worked against His objective, cutting His earthly ministry much shorter. We even read in John 8:21 and Matthew 16:20 where He strictly warned His disciples NOT to tell everyone that He is the Messiah, and in Matthew 8:4, He told a leper not to tell anyone that He healed Him! If He came to save and to heal, why did in the world would He do that? The same reason He didn’t run an “I am GOD” campaign and the same reason He taught in parables. He didn’t teach parables only because the Hebrew culture learned through story-telling - nor did He do it so that His audience would better understand Him. Yeshua taught in parables for the opposite reason: to keep the revelation of His teachings partially veiled as well as to give Him more time to fulfill His mission before things “got crazy” (Luke 12:47-48; Matt.13:10-17, 9:30-31, 11:25; Prov.25:2; Mark 1:40-45,7:35-36). It was also to draw those who were truly spiritually hungry for God and His kingdom, rather than cheapening it by “plopping” it on a silver platter for everyone to readily gobble up without understanding the depth and cost of their decision. This goes along with the principle of not “throwing pearls to swine” (Matt.7:6), and we read in Proverbs 25:2, it is the GLORY of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search it out. This verse says it glorifies the Father for Him to conceal the secrets and mysteries of His nature and kingdom - as it provokes or entices those who are truly hungry to pursue God and the things of His kingdom on deeper levels.
Concerning the “mystery” of God’s nature: the claim that the triune nature of Yahweh is “mysterious” is not a scape goat for the inability to fully comprehend and explain it - nor is it an attempt to silence those who disagree that He is one in essence yet three in Person. It is simply true; God’s nature is mysterious because nothing we know in the natural or material world provides a framework or grid that would enable us to fully grasp or apprehend who He is. If we can’t fully understand even His works in the natural world, as Ecclesiastes 11:5 says, why do we think we’re going to fully grasp Yahweh’s nature? Even if we never fully apprehend or understand the nature of our infinitely glorious God, that’s perfectly fine! Actually, that's how it should be - who wants to worship a God they can wrap their brains around or fully comprehend? Why do we feel the need to have our infinitely glorious God all figured out and make Him fit in our neatly wrapped theological boxes? Only an intellectual requires answers on everything and is uncomfortable with the unknown; only the carnal/natural mind demands explanations and leaves no room for mystery. Yes, Daniel 2:22 says God reveals “deep and secret” things, and Matthew 13:35 says the Lord will (future tense) utter and reveal things “hidden since the foundation of the world.” This of course doesn’t mean everything will be revealed, as we read in Deuteronomy 29:29, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us….” And Yeshua said in Jonn 16:12 that He had MUCH more to share with His disciples but He couldn't bc they were UNABLE the bear or handle it. In other words, there would be truths and greater revelations the Lord's Spirit would share with His people AFTER His departure throughout history. Some things He will allow to remain either mysterious or even hidden and “secretive,” and even that which has been revealed doesn’t necessarily mean we will fully apprehend it. Again, until we have a gloried body and mind, we will see through a “glass darkly” and know only “in part.”
There is one God, the God and Father of us all, and God's one and only (unique) son, the man, Christ Jesus. God is a spirit (essence), who is Holy by nature, and he gives his nature and essence (Holy Spirit) to whomever he wills. God's son is our Lord and Savior, as he himself testified concerning himself, and as God testified concerning his son.

Let's see what it says when you keep reading with GOD in mind. *God was* justified in the Spirit, *God was* seen by angels, *God was* preached among the Gentiles, *God was* believed on in the world, and *God was* received into glory.

GOD's mystery appeared in flesh and Christ is that fleshly manifestation of His mystery.
