      @@bernardlu11 i own both so I'll try and get a comparison done soon. Both great speakers. In my opinion I'll say the tribit has a slight edge in audio quality but the w11 has more low end bass. Battery life is pretty similar. Not too sure about overall volume as I haven't done a side by side comparison yet. I'll get it on the schedule to do soon!

    Looks like a good party speaker! Never heard of W-King but I see a lot of these smaller online-only brands are definitely making big moves. Its almost silly to buy popular name brand these days. I own a lot of home theater stuff and its the same thing. The smaller small factory brands are making huge moves and offering A LOT more for your money vs the popular home theater brands. They not be as "pretty", but sound wise they are just as good if not better.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před rokem +1

      Absolutely! These smaller brands really go above and beyond to give you the best bang for your buck. Also much easier for them to deliver more when they dont margins cut by selling brick and mortar retail

    Hi Eric, Just bought 2 of these T11's and the advertised battery life of 9 hours @75% volume with LED lights on is actually 1.5 hours LED with lights ON (less than 2 hours with LED lights off). Researched extensively the JBL Partybox 310, and it's battery life expectancy is similar in comparison. Seems to be a misleading spec by many of these manufacturers for these "high powered" speakers about battery life. Best to plan on leaving speakers with a charging cord attached for longer usage duration. Also find a speaker that allows you to use a 110v. charging unit so you'll have a good power source and not having to rely on USB charging. T11 has a great sound. But don't expect anything longer than 2 hours of battery life. Going to consider finding a way to add additional batteries in parallel to increase battery capacity i.e. amp-hours. BTW I did the firmware update from 2.32 to 2.36 on 1 of the speakers and left the other at 2.32 and didn't (couldn't) hear ANY difference... maybe if electronic equipment were connected one might see a difference BUT NOT BY HEARING.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před rokem +1

      This was the notes sent to me on amazon when I got it: "
      "1. Regarding firmware version 2.36, compared with the 2.32 version, the sound is more balanced. on the basis of the 2.32 version, there is a little more mid-range and treble,
      In conclusion, this version is more balanced and powerful sound. Of course, the bass is also very sufficient and powerful, suitable for the needs of most people.
      2. Regarding firmware version 2.32, this version is more bass-oriented. Compared to the 2.36 version, it has more bass, heavier. suitable for users who prefer super bass."
      I upgraded to 2.36 before I even listened to it so I can't comment on the differences. I did see other reviews where they said there were changes so I'm not entirely sure. Another CZcamsr "Allen ross" does frequency measurements before and after updates and has this speaker, so im assuming he likely knew the definite changes to what was done (at least from an equalizer perspective).
      I typically listen to mine on 40-50% volume which is still pretty loud. A few hours here and there I usually dont have to charge it till after a week or so. I never did an ongoing listen to test the entire life in one go but I'll have to do that one of these days.
      A good way to extend the battery while keeping it portable would be to pick up a portable power station. Something like a 300-700wh battery should be plenty enough to keep 2 of these charged up for several more hours. I did a review on a few VTOMAN units which are some of the best bang for your buck out there, especially when you consider its also a much longer lasting LIFePO4 battery as well

      @@EricReviews thanks Eric I will check out your referral on the portable power station. I listened to my speakers at nearly full volume outside on my deck. Like I said, Excellent sound but only 2 hours battery life without the LED lights.

    Have owned my T11 for a couple of months now. Purchased a Tribit Stormbox at the same time and compared the two for weeks. T11 sounds unquestionably better so I returned the Stormbox. I think for the price the T11 is one of the most underrated bt speakers on the market. I've owned upto a dozen speakers over the years, including my beloved WKing X10. The T11's sound with the 2.36 update is fabulous and the best I've ever owned.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před rokem +1

      I own both of those speakers as well but have yet to compare the two in a A/B playback yet. I know off the bat the T11 definitely has better bass while sounding great. I didn't think I'd care for it, but its added microphone / echo feature is a great addition. My kids have been using this speaker almost every other day as a karaoke machine and I can see how it'll become useful when actually being used in a party. Before this speaker I wasn't too familiar with W-King speakers but this one is definitely a great bang for your buck.

    • @myidisinhim559
      @myidisinhim559 Před rokem +3

      I mentioned in another YT post that I wanted to like the Stormbox Blast over the T11 because returning the Stormbox would NOT be free (I bought it directly from Tribit versus Amazon). But after a two weeks of comparing the two and listening to I don't know how many songs, I had to keep the T11. I'm a bass head and the T11 measures up. And if/when you do a comparison, you'll notice that at higher volumes the Stormbox Blast noticeably drops the bass whereas the T11 does not. My biggest gripe with the T11 pertains to the hoops to jump through to update the firmware. I'm knowledgeable with computers so it was not difficult for me (except I had to borrow a USB A cable with 2 male ends). But for those who struggle with IT stuff, they may find doing the update to be a challenge.

      Thats a tough one. I wish their Amazon listing had more specs. It saids "huge subwoofer and mid range", but no specifics on what size these drivers are.
      I want to say this one would beat it in the bass department just due to its much larger size, but that one is not only 20w more, but also a naturally aspirated ported speaker. Ported speakers are usually a lot more efficient than these waterproof speakers that use passive radiators instead.
      I'm gonna have to pick one up and do a review on it. I had no idea it even existed until your comment, but now im really intrigued, lol

    You said you played this at 60% on the video. If that was the case, at 50 watts, I would have thought you would have blown the sound off of your recording device. I thought this would be a bit more powerful at 50 watts as I would like to put this out on my deck. Guess I need to buy something a bit more powerful. Also, you needed to play different types of music with this - rock, country, heavy metal, etc. to differentiate the sound. Not sold on these types of Bluetooth speaker systems. Like someone else said - I still have my Luskins, 1980 stereo system which would blow the roof off of this and will probably do just that - buy individual units to rig up on the porch at a later date. Thanks for the review.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před 10 měsíci

      Hard to judge by a video, but I assure you 60% is enough to hear it throughout your house at a pretty loud volume. This would more than enough for a speaker on your deck. Another great option is the Tribit Stormbox Blast which I use just as much as this one

      @@EricReviews Thanks for the info. Will surely think about it. I’m just wondering how well it plays classical rock - Zepplin, The Who, Rolling Stones - where equipment back at that time did not have crystal clear rifts like today.

      @EricReviews  Před 10 měsíci

      I hear a wide variety of music and overall it sounds pretty good with everything to me. It's not going to complete with the volume and dynamics of a larger tower speaker, but for its size and wattage, it's defiantly a solid speaker.
      If you get it, get it from amazon and then worse case scenario you can just return it for a full refund if it doesn't meet your needs.@@jogordon1530

      Hard to judge the sound over youtube but in my opinion this comes pretty close at a fraction of the cost. That minor advantage in lower end just doesn't justify the cost for me.
      If it was an audiophile speaker, then that might be a different story as ive spent more on high end speakers than id like to admit.. but as a speaker just meant to get loud and party with.. I couldn't do it.

      @@EricReviews my Boombox 2 was priced down to about 250 when i got it, i know it's not as loud as a Partybox but as i said i mainly listen to music with deeper bass, which really gets broken by any speaker that doesn't have a deep enough bass response tbh
      actually often the JBL's don't even go deep enough but atleast most of the deep bass is present, which is a good thing, but i also firmly believe it's better to buy a single good speaker rather than multiple portable speakers of different sizes etc, so i think it's worth it to spend a bit more on one portable speaker and use that for pmuch everything, well except for close listening if you have good speakers at home

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  Před rokem

      @@BH4x0r Ok yeah at $250 I would've gone with the JBL Boombox 2 as well. For a few hundred more I couldn't justify it, but for only that small difference in price, the Boombox 2 would definitely be the better bang for your buck.
      If I want some serious bass, thats which I switch over to my home theater system with 2 15" subs on 4000RMS, but for regular listening at medium to loud volumes, I usually end up using the W-King T11 or the Tribit Stormbox Blast.

      Frequencies seem on par with the Tribit Stormbox Blast but with a tad bit more low end bass and punchiness. For some odd reason the frequency specs aren't posted anywhere online (really strange for a speaker), but based off listening I'm going to say somewhere in the 50-60hz range.
