We already knew it wasn’t Korea but can I just say I’m SOOOO glad it’s Hong Kong?! There is so much to explore in Hong Kong. Korea vlogs are great but they all kind of blend in together since it’s so trendy to go there, Hong Kong isn’t as trendy so there’s so much to be seen and to explore

Im from HK and just moved to Canada recently so hearing this left me completely shocked! You are gona love hk and will never be bored because its a city that never sleeps! Very clean and safe to travel alone as well. There's a lot of Korean influence there as well so you will feel at home. Remember to enjoy the balance between nature and city there because its one of those places where you can be at the beach within 20-30 mins of commute and back in the city. Some of the popular places to checkout are
1) the peak (take the peak tram for sure)
2) ocean park
3) disneyland
4) west kowloon park
5) tai po cycling trail
6) the big buddha
7) lots and lots of hiking trails eg. cape d'aguilar, dragon's back, sunset peak, tai mo shan trail, big wave beach, pui o beach, repluse baym stanley beach, high island resorvoir, lamma island, cheung chau, tsing ma bridge
Hope you have a wonderful time at my hometown! Locals are bit rude and rough but that's j how they are.

As a French studying a semester abroad in The Netherlands before going on an exchange semester in Japan, I can't express how grateful I am to have been able to experience this amazing exchange year. In The Netherlands it was also my first time living without my parents and alone and it is such a great experience. I have learnt so much during these few months and I am so sad to leave The Netherlands soon :( I'm sure that you will have a blast in Hong Kong! I am really the happiest I have never been since I live in The Netherlands! I love living alone here and I love experiencing a different type of education. I am really glad that I went alone to The Netherlands before studying in Japan with my classmates so that I learnt how to be okay on my own and live without needing anyone. Have fun 💕

Omg!!! I did my exchange year at HKU last year and it was so different from the basic western uni. I live in germany and going to HKU was such an amazing experience. I learned so much there. The teaching is so different to what I was used to but in the best way possible and the nature there was so gorgeous, we went hiking every other week🥹 I hope you have just as much fun there, I miss it so much😭🥹 definitely a huge accomplishment, you should be proud of yourself 🫶🏻🎀
