  • If there's one thing Bronte can do that Alex can't, it's catching beach worms. They're fast, slimy and tricky little buggers to catch so Bronte shows us the key technique to catching the little critters every time. There's also a tip on how to store beach worms correctly so that they stay robust and firm for your next fishing trip. If there's any questions or extra tips we don't know about, pop them in the comments below, we love to keep learning! Enjoy!

That was impressive identifying and catching the 2nd best whiting bait to catch the 1st best bait on the beach. I have shown many fishermen how to catch these worms and most never master it. The cockles / pipis are also delicious and we have some massive middens along our coast and the limestone rocks are still black from the cooking fires .

Thats no fun digging pippies up in the dry sand. My Uncles used to get me digging for the pippies in just over ankle to shin deep water as the water is receeding. Find the bed of pippies, stand and pivot and wriggle your feet to loosen the sand and feel em with your toes. Of couse the fun part for my Uncles was seein me jump when crabs would latch onto my little 8 yr old toes...Lol. Bonus fresh crab meet. Take me back please.
