SPOILERS!!! ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WATCHED SEASON THREE
The new episode revealed that Caleb is Belos' brother's name. If we are going lore style, does this mean that Hunter somehow knew subconsciously that his clone's name was Caleb, or did the writers just need a name? Either way, I like noticing things like this, making connections.
If you watch closely I’m pretty sure that flapjack chirped in hunters ear before he said Caleb, and by his expression it’s pretty clear that it was flapjack who told him. Nearer to the end of Thanks To Them, Belos (in hunters body) sees flapjack behind a rock and yells Evelyn, clearly addressing flapjack. Since we also know that Caleb fell in love with a witch and followed said witch into the human realm, I think that the show was trying to say that somehow Evelyn’s soul had been bonded with the palismin and was looking out for all the Grimwalkers. This is probable because the show has been focusing more on belos and his past, so it makes sense to bring up Caleb and his lover. The show writers only had two more episodes, so they can’t completely make a new character and the only character we don’t know a lot about it the witch Caleb loved. Sorry for rambling lol
Flapjack gave him the idea of his name, given that Flapjack was Caleb's palisman. He gets confused at first as to what Flapjack was talking about, then he got itm
