That feeling of getting your first Toys for Bob relic will never be forgotten, I remember I was going for platinum in Stowing Away when I saw I was just 10 seconds away from the dev time, so I decided to do it again and after a few tries I finally got it, and that motivated me to get a few others too.

I can't believe you were crazy enough to achieve all 38 Purple Toys For Bob Developer Relics after you completed the game yourself.
I very recently have achieved exactly all 38 out of 38 Purple developer time relics in one single playthrough, and it was my very first one on the Next-Gen upgrade on my physical PS5 system very recently and I am very proud of my accomplishment!

I knew from the start that going for these relics was for nothing more than bragging rights, but after actually doing them, I feel like some form of compensation is deserved after essentially torturing yourself for another 10+ hours.
I'll 3D print a big purple relic to myself and hang it on the wall, once I'm done 😄😄😄
Hidden tip: if u see a nitro next to a time crate, it’s faster if u hit the nitro box at the end of the level than to go out of your way to destroy the time crate because all the time crates u hit get subtracted from your time at the end if your time is frozen. Ex: i hit the nitro switch to destroy 3 nitro next to 3 three second time crates anywhere in the level, my time freezes and will get subtracted by about 9 seconds when i hit the finish.
A year late, but I’m replaying the game on Next-Gen, and I forgot about this trick. Thank you!

Because they had to make this game impossible to complete at 106% for the casual player, even tho Dev Times are totally optional (Purple Relics doesn't count in the progression of the game) Platinum Relics are also insane.

I've been using this as a way of taking out a lot of the muscle memory progression that comes with these types of challenges & it really makes the platinum relics seem easy at times!
The more I play this game the more I enjoy and appreciate its demanding content, it's honestly a blast!

it's beyond me how someone even has the patience to get just one of those dev time relics, and this is coming from someone who has beaten all dev times in ctr nitro fueled

I'm hot on the road to getting every single developer relic and this video has been immensely helpful. You do a great job in making these look doable. So far I have 23 of these bad boys, I'll keep this comment updated as I continue the grind.
(Edit 1) The purple relic for Toxic Tunnels is done and dusted, now I have 28. This one didn't take as much time to do as I feared, as I found a way to cut a corner at the last stretch of rotating platforms. My previous record was 1:50 and now it's cut down to 1:36. Toxic Tunnels is a rough one but it's surprisingly kinda fun to speed through.
(Edit 2) I finished the dev times of my two least favorite levels to speed through, A Real Grind and Rock Blocked. And they were a back to back completion too, THANK GOD. There are some levels in this game that I don't think were built to be rushed, and A Real Grind is one of them. Not only is it cuz of those goddamn sharks, but speeding through the Lani-Loli segments just feels awkward in my opinion. Rock Blocked is frustrating not because of Dingodile's half, not the explosives everywhere, it's those godforsaken rock arches above the lava. The window you have for sliding under them is way too frame-precise, and I think they should burn. Thankfully I completed the rest of the level perfectly so I could afford some waiting time on one of the arches, and still finish the dev time with a pretty good margin.
(Edit 3) This grind is wearing on me, man. Okay, after taking a break for a few days, I completed two other levels that were a bit of a pickle to go through, Potion Commotion and Thar He Blows. The actual process of completing those trials isn't so taxing, but what them so tough is how tight the dev times are. Now I have only two purple relics left. JUST TWO MORE. AND THEY ARE BOTH CORTEX LEVELS THAT I DESPISE SPEEDING THROUGH. God, this is gonna be the death of me...
(Final edit) I DID IT. HOLY MOTHERLOAD OF ANCIENT GOLDEN COCKS I DID IT. ALL 38 OF MY RELICS ARE PURPLE NOW. LET'S GO. Those last two Cortex levels were tricky but thankfully I wasn't stuck on them for a million lifetimes. Matter of fact my last purple relic, Fossil Fueled, turned out very strongly, and I beat it in 46 seconds. Overall I ended up on number 35 on the leaderboard. That is fucking amazing. That wraps it up! I finally achieved my goal, time to brag about it to my pals. GGs, Crash 4! Now I can go back to playing the game normally!
I've gotta give u massive props cuz that's a mission and a half, the Plat Trials were so painful never mind the TFB 1s 😭😭😭😭😭

Es verdad, en el video del platino todos decían que era fácil. Yo comente que con todo el esfuerzo del mundo solo tenía 7 reliquias en platino en Crash N Sane Trilogy xD. Y todos decían que era facil pero creo que con este video queda demostrado que no es así.

I think the reason they gave us the Triple Spin instead of the Crash Dash power up is because R2 as well as Triangle allows you to use the mask's power and L2 shows the HUD. Can someone remind me what L1 does?

The tawna stages seem more doable in these time trials bc she doesn't have any slides or spins so like crash 1 she hs one default running speed.
As long as you can get through all the obstacles and hit the second wall jumps it should be ok.
But crash's levels where you have to constantly slide spin AND avoid all the enemies AND get all the time crates looks impossible. Hats off to you!
