Makoa Freitas is BYU-Hawaii’s director & controller of finance, overseeing financial accounting, tax filings, payroll, investments, capital project accounting, and procurement. He started at BYU-Hawaii in 2012 and has held various roles, including assistant controller and management control auditor at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Freitas holds an MBA and a master’s in accounting from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant. He previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and played as an NFL offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts.

Já tive dificuldade em entender que o meu ritmo de aprendizado deve ser constante ao perseverar em tudo é para o meu crescimento espero finalmente ter aprendido . Também tive dificuldade em aprender que o Pai Celestial pode interromper o que estou fazendo para me abençoar e eu tenho que estar preparada pra isso e saber como devo proceder ou eu vou ficar sempre para trás ouvindo os Seus conselhos até o dia que conseguir entender o quanto me ama em pequenas porções.
