Yeah, I know how it is. My hair is very thick, I think it is 2b/2c (wavy) in the length and tips and 1c (straight) in the root.

I feel so bad for all of these guys who didn't grow their hair out because they need other people to do it to feel encouraged. Pero I sit here looking like my mother,with my ears pierced, everyone calling me ma'am, &my hair has been long for almost 8 years. Minus a little 2 year Hiatus cuz i cut it off & it had to grow back. if you have thick individual strands of hair, thank the hair gods profusely. thin hair is what's fragile/much more prone to breakage/tangling, has less volume, and is harder to work with.

Great video man, very helpful. I did your style with all your hair under the hat and love it. Seems you struggled a little to gather it, but I found if you gather all your hair high in the back of your head, about the crown for a high pony or bun, then with the hand not holding your hair, use your pointer finger to twist the hair into a twist, then pull the tail end to the top of your head and the hat pops on perfect. When doing the tuck, it helps me to prepare it in my hands as basically a pony tail, then twist it and place on top of my head. I get much fewer loose hairs trying to escape the cap that way. Cheers from Tampa Bay.

That last one could be great if you go see a friend that you haven't seen in years and they have no idea you've grown your hair long and then boom you take you hat off half way through the day and shake out your locks and whip it round in the air and shock them

Honestly, I think I’m just gonna go back to my barber and tell him to shave my head off at this point because I just can’t deal with this any longer! Who knew that having long hair could be a stressful thing! The reality of the situation is I have a bunch of hats and I can’t wear any of them because my hair is so thick that hats just fall off.
If I do manage to get a hat on my head my hair will eventually just push it off because of how thick and how much hair I actually have. In your case is easy to showcase different styles in your video because you have very thin hair, but for those of us really thick hair, this is extremely difficult and most of these tips and tricks done work.
Nice styles! I prefer number 7: Putting my hair into a ponytail and pull it through the hole of my snapback hat.
Thanks to another video on this channel, I actually learned how to tie my hair the right way! And This video will help a lot because I always have to squint my eyes because it's insanely bright outside, and I'm looking forward to rocking a hat+long hair!

I found too (haven’t watched the full video) if you puff the ends of your hair or if you get a hair cut that feathers the bottom and kinda rounds it , it looks poofy and cool if you like that

As long as you don't have split ends or damaged hair, you don't have to get it trimmed. Go to a stylist, they will know what to do.

I don't usually do the prairie dog unless I'm going out and I really don't feel like dealing with my hair. I put the hat on a little different though. Instead of feeding the highball through, I put the hat on unsnapped, then I just snap it into place. Sure, there's a risk of some neck hair getting caught, but it usually never happens.

hmm...that's a rough one because the thickness of your hair is genetic. I'm sure there are some types of product out there that may help a bit, but I don't think you'll see a giant change.

I always sport the undercover... but what i do is.. i twist my hair up and put on the hat. It holds the hair and have a cleaner look to it. And i love the shock factor when i take my hat off.
