When we were living those days in 90s never thought we will miss those time in future
For me it was pizza Fridays at home after school! 🍕
We would rent two Goosebump tapes from Blockbuster and 👻
I would play Lego Island on the pc
I'd kill a man for a early 2000s version of this. I adore this one and it's definetly brought me back to a more relaxed and happy time
Edit: Done! czcams.com/video/WzFgVCbw7Rg/video.htmlsi=zGlEUpW6YEKQK5y2
I haven’t gotten around to making a video for it yet, but I do have a playlist on Spotify: open.spotify.com/playlist/7rVBeoR0AD7buX2rXrNQyJ?si=7CUQ9nDKTVeC7ZALwkanQg&pi=e-ilzuRW5lQg6X hope it’s what you had in mind :)

@@SummerOf1987😂 you beat me to this comment
Back then i couldnt wait to get out of the neighborhood and small city i lived in, the world wasnt exciting enough for me. Never ever in my life did i think i would want to go back to that time and place, i just want to jump right into a time machine and forget everything from this era.
Lol the music cuts out at 3:59 and then comes back 3 seconds later --- truly, this is accurate to the 90s computer experience
Hahaha I actually have no idea how that happened 🤔
😂🤌

back when I was still an innocent child....i miss those days
What happy, peaceful & nostalgic memories this video brings of my childhood during the optimism of the 90s. The nostalgia almost hurts like a stab wound from a serrated weapon.
I miss time before social media
It's something I feel regret that happened
I think the only good thing social media has been good for, like CZcams for example are, but not limited to:
1.) Tools for teaching subjects like Math, Chemistry, Statistics, and all that for students in school. Especially, college. You have to give it that.
2.) Access to music like this, numerous classics, and all.
3.) Amazing photos of landscapes, movies, cartoon characters we love, and of that nature. Then again, we have Google Images for that, but still. Things like Pinterest and Tumblr for photos are helpful, but only as a source for photos.
But as far as human social interactions, yes, I agree. As far as how it has shaped our social lives, very different from what I listed above, yeah. Social media should never have happened. It has ruined us more than we dare to imagine. Even those who made it, like Mark Zuckerburg, won't allow their own children to use it. That alone says a lot.
We have become mere appendages of machines, caught in a World Wide Web, they mine our data, their algorithms manipulating our every desire, each of us a neuron in a hive mind, striving for influence, or observing with judgement.
it seemed like such a good idea, to have your own little internet self, like Blogger, Myspace and Whirl Pool, but things were already turning weird by then
Yeah. Times before social media was much better atleast few small ones.
The 90s were paradise.
AWesome. One of my favorite 90s memories around Christmas time was playing Diablo 1 and my grandma bought me a huge bag of m&ms and I ate them frozen while playing diablo all night.
I'm Gen X so this wasn't a thing, but my god it's so cozy! I love it.
OK wait, just got to the DK Country part and I was obsessed with that in the mid to late 90s, lol. This is remarkable. The music even sounds similar at that point. Genius. 😊
I used a scary amount of the software shown here. Now I feel old.
Encarta, man the memories of that in school. Also used to use Comptons which was another competing encyclopedia.
I am glad these are made. Very cool to go back in time a bit.
Oof. Now that's a hit right in the childhood. So calm, peaceful, and full of optimism.
Love this! Talk about memories of first learning 🖥 computers on Windows 3.11. I remember the huge hype when Windows 98 was released. I'm a 67 year old graphic designer and photographer who took to technology like a fish to water! Fun graphic and screen animation!😅 And yes, I still do Windows.

Ah, memories. I never get bored with the good old stuff like this. ^v^
Thanks for making this 37 year old cry... it brings back memories of when i was a kid in the early 1990s
This totally sounds like music you would hear on The Weather Channel, during their local forecast breaks, back in the late 80's or early 90's.
My first PC was Packard-Bell, monitor over the CPU. One time I saw my mom cleaning them, then turned to me and told me to always clean my PC because she heard that it can catch viruses....hahahahaha
Monitor over CPU was the One True Setup. We should have gone back to it immediately after making optical drives obsolete.
As the wars get worse, I hope nostalgia can play part in reminding us that we all share these memories together, and we all want those times back; and ultimately, that we are really all still just ignorant kids.
"Welcome to the Platinum Experience Suite 2003" had me stopped what I was doing, and listen to it with heart, memories and nostalgia. What a wonderful mix.
Whenever I see something like that, I feel like I'm remembering something I've never experienced...
These comments are a breath of fresh air. Blessings to you all!
Thank you for uploading. This is a nostalgic gem for us that grew up in the 90s!
My childhood, thank's a lot.
Gateway was the shit. I still had those same Boston speakers up until recently. Altec Lansing had some amazing quality stuff too. They sounded amazing and would hook them up to every new computer I had almost till this day. Finally kicked the bucket like two years ago, but those things were professional quality. These days, you need real sound/studio monitors to get that level of quality.
yoooooo you hit the vibe you pass the vibe check you get that vibe you got that vibe.
Ah, the 90s, Great Windows 95 memories, . . .
Many thanks for the extended version! Now I can fall asleep peacefully.
Ahhhhh the Cow PC … Gateway 2000 😊 memories

Glad to hear EPCOT’s incredible ambient music included! It’s the sound of the 90s imo! (And my childhood) 41:38 & 1:54:50

Gotta say, sometimes im doubthfull about listening long mixes. Thank god im able to overcome that and just 😌Enjoy😌 good stuff
Many thanks for the upload, definitely brings back 90's childhood memories. Surfing the internet on a 56k modem taught us to be patient! And, Gateway PC? Any chance anyone knows what model?
I think it’s a Gateway G6-300XL but not positive!
My sister used to have that type of computer when i was very little.
My brain flipped when I heard the Lego Island music. Memories rushing back !
I know I've seen that house somewhere, but I can't remember where. Nice vid! Miss the good old days!
This is killing meeeeee I want it backkkkk😭😭
EXCELLENT
Love the atmosphere and nostalgia! I remember world fusion/ambient music was very popular in the 90s and was in the commercial music charts. @31:29 I'm getting Enya vibes :)
How you found some of this stuff is beyond me. Thank you
Came for the Windows 95 boot up sound, stayed for the Dire, Dire Docks.
I miss the 90s.
The 80s were extremely comforting as well.
We could have it again.
But nah.
Linux has almost been around as long as Windows now the same feeling I'm running with Linux Mint can ALMOST feel like older Windows the experience will blow your mind away how it also has a lot of retro base themes you guys should really try it out if you get the chance if you want to experience personal freedom.
I wish I knew the first thing about that stuff. I try but my brain just cannot. I need it explained like I'm 5 and with my hand held every step of the way. I can cook, use a map, bake, read complicated books, fold fitted sheets nicely, all kinds of stuff. But technology? PFFFFFFT. As if!
hell to the yeah
This is so good, I love it! Any chance we can get a part 2, please?
It's the SNES game playing on the old 90's Windows PC for me... Great music, though!
computers like that, with Jurassic park and Small Soldiers playing on the comp or in a movie. Good times, the 90s.
Picture it, early 1997. Me, a 17 year old emotional wreck, sitting alone in my room at night after getting off work at my Burger King job. Playing Mario 64 in the dark, and for some reason openly weeping to “Dire, Dire Docks.” My life was kinda upside down at the time. And I don’t even know why… I had a job, a girlfriend, and a roof over my head. But for reason I woke up every morning with this overwhelming sense of dread that I still can’t completely comprehend. If I had to guess it was because I hung out with other overly emo teens who had waaaay worse lives than mine and for reason I was letting their vibes bounce off me. Who knows.
As soon as I read "Picture it" I thought "Sicily 1922" Sophia from Golden Girls

Mind Maze on a Gateway 2000. Where does time go.
We never knew how lucky we had it.
For anyone interested - it is possible, and not that hard, to download Windows 95 on virtual machine. Lots of youtube videos on VMs. Really fun to open my brand new MacBook and get to an old Windows browser in a few clicks.

Ok it's bugging the crap out of me that I can't figure out where I've seen that (exterior shot) house before. Can anyone help me??
It’s from the movie American Dreamer (1984)!

... gah... its 2024... meaning.. the 1990s where 30ish years ago...
To be honest. The tech changed but it still kinda feels like its still the 90s.
your last comment about it feeling like it’s still the 90s shows there is ZERO way you were alive or old enough to appreciate the 90s, when it actually was the 90:s
I am going to have to disagree. The 90's was weird celebratory decade that can't ever really be repeated. The Cold War ended and we got about 10 years of peace before we collectively lost our damn minds after 9/11. Now it just feels awful, the world is going to crap, people can't express themselves without being mobbed by a psycho fringe minority. That are too stupid to realize they are just corporate F puppets and useful idiots. We don't have blockbuster summer movies with zinging one liners or a robust economy for most of a decade. Not the 25% real inflation caused by destroying the economy then printing a ungodly amount of money like a child that does not understand that only would make it worse.
what do you mean, the 90s was only like 10 years ago 🤗🙂↔️

the stationwagon is a little much. too far back. this is like 80s and 90s mixed. a honda civic. or a ford excursion, or a mercedes would be better suited. too much synth too. just trying to help get the 90s vibe on point.
Idk...I had quite a few classmates back then whose parents owned and drove station wagons.
