These videos of yours are an armchair delight.
I learned to ride a bike on a Chopper.
Used to love Blackpool in the dead of Winter/off season.
Always nice down by the sea.
☆edit☆
Thankyou Stephen you sure do bring back memories.
"The Coaster" looks nice I like the log burners and the mural.
You do put me in the mood to visit again sometime too maybe I'll see you sometime thanks for keeping us all up to date.
Great views and that sounds of the sea
Do you live by the sea Andy.
@@therocksbyclan a live in Yorkshire rocks
I've experienced some of the roughest weather in Blackpool there is nothing more exhilarating than the rough sea and wind there,,
We love it!
Well done Stephen what a nice way to see blackpool, when it's quiet, and of course you meeting old and new friends. Thank you💚
Thanks for the memories, it's certainly changed since I lived in Cleveleys, best wishes from New Jersey USA 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
Another great video Stephen.👌👌
Find out in 7 days. Lovely little break and can't wait
Another great video Stephen 😊
Great video Stephen. The Lindale Cafe is lovely you should try it out when it opens proper homemade food. Love your lesson on Blackpool history
you know what I like? I like the fact that you're not shying away from what Blackpool needs, its current state, and everything else inbetween. it's easy to forget that people live there (dare I say - assuming some live in Lytham, Fleetwood and other locales). I do love the 'no holds barred' approach. 👍
Thanks 🙏
Yes, I can confirm that there are people living in Lytham and Fleetwood. 😂👍
Hello from Fleetwood
Fantastic watch ste interesting as usual 😀 👍🏻 👌
Loved watching this, thank you, looking forward to visiting a couple of weekends in the summer, always go to Kings & Queens Central Pier and to the Tower and Ballroom 😁
i have great memories of many visits to blackpool, from the 50s with mum, to about 2010. Highly unlikely I'll be going again so I really appreciate your films and commentary.
My favourite was seeing the Fun House in the Pleasure Beach, and going round and round in the barrel and sitting at the top of the big slide trying to pluck up the courage to go down it. I was reading the other day that the Wedding Chapel is having a refurb and there's going to be an Open Day for anyone who is interested.
Oh I loved Jodys funhouse it was fab apart from the fact it was Art Deco if you didn't come out of there with cuts, scrapes, bruises & friction burns you weren't doing it right 👍😂😅🤣
I loved it in that fun house when I was younger and I used to be really scared of that laughing clown which was outside of the fun house, which is still on the pleasure Beach near avalanche ride,my kids are now scared of it
@Rachel lunn oh I hate him as well he's vile I was lucky last time I went to the Pleasure Beach he was out of order thank god 😱😳🤣😂😅
@racheljohnson9687 I bet many kids are scared of him he's freaky aint he hun x
@Rachel lunn I don't know whether you know this but the reason he is so awful is that laugh was suppose to have been recorded from a real person in a Mental Asylum years ago errrgh!!!! Horrid 😱😳
Love ❤️ the Layton rakes weatherspoons in Blackpool I’ve never been in the velvet coaster looks nice inside…your chicken and chips looks yummy 😋 another great video Stephen
Another great video....
Thanks again for another fantastic video 🙏
Nice to see you again
great video Stephen, used to love walking a lot from south to north and back again (when I came for a holiday ) sadly wouldnt be able to walk like that anymore , but it looks a beautiful day . great place ,and I do hope I can come up again to blackpool in near futre for a holiday , take care Stephen
Love watching your videos Stephen, I remember commenting about 1.5/2 years ago as I’m in NZ. I’m back in the U.K. this summer and looking forward to be seeing Blackpool glammed up!
Sounds great!
Blackpool is good in the summer especially the night life!!
@@theculturedthug6609 yeah it is indeed. Went nearly 4 years ago and was really good!
We're going for my kids birthday at the end of the month, this vid showed me some great places to check out ☺️
I loved the Fun House...and my dad always took me with him to the Cenotaph on the prom. He was in the Navy in 1914..He even took me to see Stanley Mathews play football, had my first hotdog. Met Tarzan when he performed at the Derby baths. Wouldn't give me his autograph, I was a kid. Very disappointed.
Yet another interesting video especially inside the Velvet Coaster. You’re videos are really informative and interesting I can’t believe how sharp the quality is. Keep up the good work Steve. ❤😊
Hi Steve. Will be going to Blackpool in early April. xx
Have fun Sharon
Hi Stephen oh I had a purple chopper bike , wow love the sound of the sea 🌊 beautiful view 😊 x
I bet you wish you still had it £££😘
@Duncan Letts I had it up to 20 years ago my son took it and did up for his son 😊
Thanks Julie x
@@juliec70 hey Julie
@@kkrispy2009P hey kkrispy I'm fine how's you 🙂
I went on that roller coaster back in the late 90s. It was called back then THE PEPSI MAX
I do remember the Dr Who exhibition Stephen. I was just watching a small bit of footage on CZcams the other day. Definitely worth checking it out. Dave
I never went in, but a mad keen Dr Who fan friend of mine couldn't stay out of the place.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Me too. I Never actually went in, I think at the time it came across as very scary. Dave
Well done on 40k subs . Up and away . Thanks Stephen. I can't wait 4 the video collab with random and desperate the 2 Stevens lol cheers
I worked in those Hotels as a DJ in 1980 to 1989. The Viking was one.
Great walkabout along Blackpool seafront Stephen. Love my Wetherspoon pubs and The Velvet Coaster looks a belter. Good to see the businesses preparing for another season including the Higgitt who is currently reflooring James’s bingo parlour. I believe he’s reopening first weekend in March, not long now. I think The North Pier is my favourite out of the three piers. Nice vlog👍😉
Thanks David 👍
I used to visit in January, and most months. We found the resort very quiet. Just about to see if it has changed.
Thanks for another great video Stephen really enjoyed it
Always enjoy the videos on your channel keep up the good work 👍👍
💚
Great video will be visiting soon
Thank you so much Stephen for another fantastic video, I remember the log flume from many moons ago , and the open air baths , happy days! Keep safe and warm !
Thanks Sharon. I saw one of the log flume cars in a local park recently.
Very good video Stephen. You packed a lot in there. Thank you for going into the pub. It would be great if you went into more pubs in Blackpool and have a meal when you get chance. Thanks again. Oh......love the beard.
Hi Stephen thanks for another great video, the sea is so calm.
Another excellent video Stephen what a lovley day for Blackpool you can't ask for much more than that I can't wait for August for my holiday to blackpool I can't wait for next video Stephen I hope you and your family and friends are well and safe
Thanks Wayne.
I used to love the Dr Who box on Chapel Street...you entered the Tardis and went downstairs to the exhibition....wonderful times.
What a brilliant video Stephen. Blackpool on a lovely sharp sunny winter's day and so very informative. A particularly useful video.
Great video Stephen, I love the little history lessons we get in your films. Regarding that brightly painted cafe I saw a review somewhere of it and it does a three course roast dinner for about £8, maybe you should review it sometime . Yeh, really enjoyed watching this video.
Unfortunately I am old enough to remember the Dr Who exhibition with the Dalek outside and Woolworths and Lewis's department store
Evening Stephen, i had the blue chopper bike
Lovey winter sun do miss the go-karts docter who place and lovey food at Lindale and Chris burgers grate vidio
Great video.👍

Blackpool tower was used in WW2 as a radio mast for experimental radar.
the Ice Dome went every year to the Ice hockey tournament the smell in their was a one off brilliant days

Have to agree with you Stephen maccys do the best coffee and its the cheapest.
Hi Steven Yes I so remember the open air swimming pool. They used to have bathing Beauty competitions with celebrities who were appearing in Blackpool doing the judging.
Would you want it to be as busy as the Summer Season?
I think coastal resorts need to have a rest in winter.
Interesting video mate. 👍⛱
Hi Stephen thanks for a video stay safe sea is more peaceful
Brilliant walking with you again Stephen👍🚶
Another great video Stephen thanks very much for it look forward to the next one
Great video stephen, Chris the £1 burger man "I'm gonna do something controversial to get in paper" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 love a bloke with a sense of humour!! How about a video about Blackpool hauntings?? Mornin Stephen..:) its sad the Golden mile is being moved..the new place looks small..:( nice to see blue skies...looking forward to coming to see the old place later on this year..:) enjoyed the video as always
Thanks Carol.
yet an other great video keeping us up todate with whats going on in blackpool thank you for this video nice one!.
I'm from Manchester and it's nice to see you have a Manchester spot, lol. Also you share many of our street names 🤗🍹
I worked in the casino cafe when I was young Steven I remember the fun house as well
When I go through Blackpool sometimes it's fairly quiet but I don't think the bad weather has helped but come summer Blackpool will be heaving Wich is good good video can't wait for the next one
Lovely soothing scenic video Stephen .
What a fantastic walk Stephen, wish I'd known you when you had your Chopper, I'd have loved a ride on it 😉 xx

Can you remember when their was a Mini Kind of Pleasure Beach where the Golden mile amusements are, or just behind. I’m not completely sure. Dave
Might be before my time David.
My father was a scenic artist. He worked on the River Caves and the Tower ballroom ceiling. Years ago....
Another interesting video well done
🙏
Stephen great videos 😊
Wow, Stephen, you rode a chopper?! “Born to be wild…” 🏍
We'll be paying a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach in April , we had a full English breakfast in there on Sunday 28th it was delicious I can never understand why would want a beer in a morning lol 🤣, we did try to live vlog on Saturday night didn't help with wind and rain we a tram video earlier that day on Balloon 717

Really really enjoyed this video there was a bit of everything I've never ever noticed that arcade building where yes is as well really really interesting thank you for sharing
Yates
Hey up mousey
I remember The Velvet Coaster being like Mothercare in season never seen so many kids. The Beachcomber Restaurant next door picks up Wetherspoons WiFi when dinning there .A brilliant restaurant by the way never disappointing.
It can be a bit noisy with kids in summer.
Hi Stephen thanks for another great video, I love watching your vlogs they remind me of some very happy memories from Blackpool. Please give Pat and Derek from the New Osborne Hotel my regards. Thank you Brian 👍
Hi Brian. I’m good friends with Pat & Derek, so I will pass on your regards.
weatherspoons , just a great place
I visited the open air bath a very long time ago always very cold and they had a Beauty Queen competion's
i like your vlogs cos you show things we wouldn't see
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always I like the velvet coaster your food looked really nice will be interesting what the new hotel will be like shame about St Chad's though be good if they build houses on that waste ground its quite big too have a great evening xx
Ah, The Velvet Coaster. I have had many a works 'executive meeting' in there on a Friday lunchtime. It has been mild these past few days and a quieter Blackpool is looking good. Great video.😊👍 P.S. I still have my Chopper.🤣
Wetherspoons the Velvet coaster I did have a chicken one. It was like a rubber chicken you could throw at the window and it would bounce off. I didn’t really enjoy myself. Enjoy Stephen
I use to live on Withnell Road which starts at the side of the velvet coaster and your video make me wish I was back in Blackpool rather than here in overpriced London. I first started living on Princess street when I first moved to Blackpool and that Lyndene cafe is a great cafe. Have you done a video or thought about doing a video from Happy Dayz arcade? I had a dream I lived in the flat above the Robert's Oyster place.
i do like blackpool but its having a hard time at the mo. long live the pool
Good evening Stephen hope your well oh and I went to raffles earlier for some tea still a decent chippy
Thanks Jimmy.
