Australia just isn't Australia anymore, doesn't matter if you are a labour voter or a liberal voter... us white australians are being sidelined for a bigger agenda of multiculturalism...
it's obvious it doesn't work, when there is such radical differences in culture and ethnicity so are there massive differences in interests and desires.. Eventually they conflict and a divide forms, as each group competes for themselves
We're really ripping the heart out of this country, our politicians are selling it like it helps us, but they are really the only people that can try and keep this afloat.

A friend in Australia introduced me to this song a few years ago, knowing how I was grieving for my blue heeler dog (9-1998 to 12-2010), who epitomized a true blue friend. As soon as I heard it for the first time, True Blue became part of my heart and soul. I've had four special blue heeler dogs since, each of them a special needs senior (each visually challenged: Good Boy, Happy Dog, and Sweet Prince) except for my current best friend, Lil Prince (who was young, but had been jettisoned by someone that no longer wanted him), and I thank God and my first blue boy, Wiggles, for being instrumental in saving the lives of each special blue boy that he and God have found for me to love and be loved by. I'm born and bred in Midwest America, but I Am Australian (with most appreciative nod to Judith Durham and The Seekers). We are one, but we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come ... I am, You Are, We Are Australian! Thank you to John Williamson and others including James Blundell (Time on His Hands) for sharing the voice, heart, soul, and song of Australia!

Julie Smithson Wow, Same here! My dog Ted was a gorgeous blue heeler but we had to sadly put him down. I’m still shattered to this day and my family has always had a Ted version of this song since he was a puppy. It went like:
      Hey blue bears
      Can you bear the load?
      With your two fluffy ears,
      And your big black nose,
      And your four red feet,
      And your big bushy tail,
      Hey blue bears,
      Can you bear the load?
I miss my dog Ted and I still love him to this day, we had to put him down 9/11/2018 due to heart disease and we couldn’t save him. We always called him blue bears, bears, teddy, teddy bears, but his name was Ted. 💙

I am Chinese and admire what the British gave the world - concepts of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and expression. Multi-party democracy as well as sound judicial systems. In the 18th and 19th centuries they also seemed to be incredibly inventive and gave the world modern medicines too. Moreover, their moral compass stood up to fascism and communism in 2 world wars. I could add more! I love Australia too and have a fondness for Australian culture.

Something else too, quite apart from Johns’ wonderful voice and a hallmark of this bloke, is that genuine, unblemished Aussie accent. It’s not over-done, it’s clean and natural and it’s in every song he’s done since Old Man Emu and beyond. It’s a shame he left The Country Music Association of Australia. Especially since he started it. I can only imagine what went on in the boardroom when he left. Can we have him back please? Can all those interested having John back just leave a note here? That would be nice. Especially…

Love the people, love the land. Good blokes too. Rooted sone lasses and sampled local goon, got smothered in stars, watched the sky burn and bathed in ocean. Changed me forever.
