Good episode. A few more tips on game mechanics. When searching a car you can actually search each door and trunk. A single search doesn't cover the entire car as the game actually has inventories for each compartment.
Also when clearing a scene debris on the ground is something that you also take a picture of for the report and removing the debris also gives progress.
Doing a DUI and Drug test is also part of the accident report so doing both is required if you want a maxed out progress on the report. Be sure to do all DUI tests before arresting someone as, for some reason, the game does not allow those tests once they are in handcuffs.
Final tip. in the options you can selectively choose which violations the game calls out to you. If you dont want the game to point out turn signals not being used you can actually turn it off. Its actually part of the difficulty options. It might be worth just looking over those options just to see what the difference between casual and hard is. the game actually tracks A LOT of stuff you are doing. It just ignores it in casual mode.
With regards to the highway expansion. Activating it just adds the highway as a choice when selecting your shift at the beginning of the day. You don't necessarily need to do a separate series if you don't want to.

Yes. Giving them their report should be the next to last thing you do, right before calling the tow truck.
OH, and when doing radar, try to stand in the middle of the block between signals. At the signals, the cars will be slowing down and just getting to speed. Try to find the longest stretch of road and be in the middle of the block.
Also, I never stop the underglow cars because I'm in Ohio where it's perfectly legal as long as you can't see the source of the glow and it's not "flashing, strobing or oscillating". They can be any color.

Not sure what the buttons are on pc but you can select several violations and issue them all at once ...... Plus in the UK if you have no insurance or licence you'd get your car seized.

Here in Australia (NSW) breatherlizers are the norm, we don't do any other tests. You can be made to do a random breath test as well at any time. If you refuse the test it is considered an admittance of guilt and the max penalty automatically applies.
We also have field drug tests which you run from the back of your tounge to the front. Again can be done randomly, though less common and more likely on a alcohol and drug spot where they pull people in on the side of the road to be tested 3+ at a time.
Searching someones vehicle without probable cause though is illegal.
When you search a car. You can search all doors including boot. The best reports of an incident is;
ID. (On people involved, including witnesses)
Drug/ alcohol test (do both on all drivers)
Testimony.
Witnesses (if any).
Photos of all angles of all cars (including tyre marks and bumper shrapnel)
Then issue report to all involved, arrest if necessary. Then remove vehicles (if you remove vehicle before the reports are handed you'll loose easy points).
You can take people in your car, once handcuffed there is an option to escort. Depending on car size you can take up to 5 people.
Follow these steps in order and you'll find in a 25 min shift you can rack upto 3,000 points easy (including parking tickets and speeding. You do do multiple tickets on 1 parking offence, anything driver related count. Exp licence includes ticket and tow.

Know im late so if you havent in other videos few tips, you dont have to keep going back to grab their ID your mobike CAD keeps a record of the last person and or car you interacted with, also from ehat i remembered that suv is about the only one that can fit four people in it. Also the dui checkpoint for me is always laggy, best yo avoid it. Oh last but not least, unfortunately when searching a car, you have to hit every door and trunk, cause for some reason in game searching one door only shows you what you find in that vicinity, vans are the only exception to the rule, they consider both rear doors as one.
Also if you press E on each violation you can charge the mwith multiple at a time

In UK. An accident warrants a alcohol test and drugs test. Probable cause for searches or with consent.
Hello. Thanks for your real life sacrifices to do what you do. You seem to enjoy it a lot. I did security work in Texas in my early 20s intending to become a LEO. Not a career path for everyone.
I found your first video of this series from the algorithm randomly and have enjoyed them all. I have been playing a few days every day since and always play the 1 hour shift. Eventually you will acquire the option for a real- time 8 hour shift. As soon as real life let's me do it, I very well might! For now, I have been doing 1 hour shifts and going for 90 minute shifts soon.
A tip for checking insurance. Fake insurance is possible, but difficult to spot. The computer will list the insurance as invalid, even though the insurance card expiration is valid. The plates are listed on the insurance card. If the plates on the card do not match the vehicle plates, the insurance is fake. It is an offense (I have forgotten as I type this where, but it is there... ticketable(?)).
Any way, thanks for giving your time for what you do. I am sure the people in Washington are better for it. I love your videos! I hope you can get a few LEOs to join you. One would be fun. More would be awesome! (overtalking off)

You need to search the whole vehicle. Passenger side and trunk.
Back doors too
Also if you don't know.....make sure you give a person in custody their accident report BEFORE you put them in your squad car otherwise you will lose your ability to give them the report if you put them in the car first.
I think there is a glitch too where it will say they are driving under the influence of alcohol and the reading will be below .08. I let these people go.

You dont have 24 photos on roll of film. Circle the crashed car with the camera aiming for a shot, not all items for the report are visible from a few angles. Circle it and click like mad!
Also, valid stops means DUI & Drug test everyone. Dont rely on their only being "indicators" in the text at the top of the screen about their behaviour.
Last event before you haul their butt to jail is give them the accident report. Will have everything including who involved in the crash was DUI / high as a kite.

Specifying the dollar amount for the tickets feels unrealistic, not to mention how cooperative everyone is. It'd also feel less one dimensional if the player character didn't sound so "by the book". He sounds like if Robocop was rated E for everyone

Hi man it was a good video you have to keep in mind that as you progress you will unlock more tools for yourself your cars and especially Escorting arrests. To be able to unlock escorting arrests you need to unlock a couple of duty stars in the Downtown district after 7 in game days your able to change districts

Is there a way you can radar traffic for speeding violations and actually go pull the car over to issue a summons?
how are DUI checks not a thing in WA, in finland we have DUI checkpoints checking everyone going in both directions, no prior suspicion needed
The Washignton State supreme court said they were in violation of the Washignton State constitution so we cant do them, the US supreme court says they are fine but we in Washington or any state for that matter have to abide by our state's case law
also you can search each door and even trunks of the cars and find a ton of stuff
Some people will sway as you talk to them so an easy tell.

what difference between a military police and street police thought there one police and can a cop arrest another cop if there drinking or doing something bad also i like your videos i subscribed
Military police only have authority on a military base, regular police tupically have authority to at least detain throughout all of the US. And yes police can arfest other cops for doing something bad

Additional points are awarded for delivering suspects to the station in person. +70 and sometimes more for one!

It is a way for them to say "I was here" by leaving fingerprints. If a suspect makes a run for it or something crazy, its proof that the cop and the vehicle were at the same place at the same time.

We do use them just not ones for meth and THC (because they dont exist lol)
What's weired is that you have to call in that: You need back up to take a subject into custody.
That would make a lot of officers freak out coming to you thinking your in trouble 😂
Wouldn't the correct response be: I need TRANSPORT to take a subject in to custody?
Needing backup means you are not in control or in some kind of trouble detaining them?
I thought that was wild, BUT it's a video game.
In real life you would say you need a transport unit and they would come without lights and sirens on
I think they only do that in this game so that the traffic will move out of their way.
