      Is the personalization and memory accessible to free users or only to pay users? I don't seem to be able to find that menu is why I'm asking. Right now the only memory I really have is the chat log and I've been wondering about having something like this and if I had to be a paid member.

    I'm Italian and I've seen many videos, in Italian, English, and even Japanese on memory functions, but none were as complete as your video! I congratulate you, and I also thank you for speaking clearly, allowing a non-native speaker like me to understand everything you say! Thank you.

      I agree. For me: She is one of the best presenters on CZcams in my opinion. Excellent pace in her videos. An excellent teacher. For example: Her video on Custom GPT functions was so easy to understand.

    • @Justanuzzo
      @Justanuzzo Před měsícem +4

      @@Flectron1 Yes, it's true, I only recently discovered her. I follow various CZcamsrs, but none explained how to get consistent characters on DALL-E, so I started searching in English for the first time and stumbled upon her videos. For me, it was "love at first sight." I like her way of presenting, her pacing, the fact that she doesn't shout in her videos, and that she provides very detailed examples. Above all, she doesn't just repeat what others say but always seeks an original approach. Gradually, she won my heart. If there's something I don't understand (being a non-native speaker), I rewind the video, turn on subtitles, or get help from ChatGPT, but she has become a reference point for me.

    • @Flectron1
      @Flectron1 Před měsícem +2

      @@Justanuzzo I completely agree! Her speaking pace is excellent. I dislike when other CZcams videos rush through content too quickly, trying to cram information into our brains. It feels unnatural. If creators are concerned about viewers speeding up their videos, they should consider that a well-paced presentation can actually keep viewers engaged. If the content is valuable and relevant, people will stay and watch.

    • @Justanuzzo
      @Justanuzzo Před měsícem +2

      @@Flectron1 I agree with you! Many creators shout, speak rapidly, or engage in silly sensationalism, often parroting the same news without adding any new content.
      It makes no sense to see the same news from 100 different creators if they all say the same thing in substance. I really appreciated this video because she didn't just announce the memory feature, she didn't just show how it works, but she went beyond by providing an original prompt and original ideas for its use! I really appreciate this added value, it's worth much more than covers with astonished photos and sensationalist screams!

    if the amount of memories are limited by the context window it would be cool if memories could act as pointers to particular parts of previous chats which chat gpt could then remember to look up if it thought it was relevant from a brief summary actually store in the memory, it could effectively make the amount of memory infinite

    I did the same. What came to me the first time I used it is that I eliminated some use cases for a custom gpt. So basically I use memory as instructions to do automation. Saves time instead of creating a custom GPT for some use cases.
