Seeing waterfalls in person is an almost religious experience. The sound is soothing... puts your mind and spirit at ease and just washes away anything negative you might be feeling or thinking about.

Dry Falls is my fav. I do a day trip out that way now and then out of Chattanooga, even tho it makes for a long day. Posted videos on the bigger of those 3 falls just a month or so ago. And I've driven behind Bridal Veil Falls back when it was allowed. Did you know, going WAY back, that Hwy 64 used to run behind the falls? Yep, that was the original road before it was bypassed slightly out of the way as it is now.

If you ever get over to Tellico Plains, stop for lunch at the Tellico Grains Bakery. They make a awesome pizza. Also, the building that it is in is unique. You would say it was really cool⊠LOL. Really enjoyed your video. I was at Dry Falls & Bridal Veil earlier this year. Walking behind the falls at Dry Falls is something everyone should get to experience in their lifetime!

I just ran across your CZcams videos today...you guys are crossing the same trails my late wife and I trekked from 1971 till she passed away last year...we went to Gattlinburg on our honeymoon in '71 with a few stops in Townsend (still my favorite spot in the Smokies)...moved to Southeast TN (Cleveland) in 1986 from metro Atlanta from a job transfer with NS railway and spent 30+ years exploring the locations on your vids đ (much of it on two wheels)...I do have photos (if I can find them) when you could drive your bike/car under the falls đ...

When you were at Glenn Falls, you were about 2 minutes away from where I lived until I was 18!! I used to walk to the falls sometimes when I was bored!

If you go back to the Highlands/Cashiers area, drive on down to the NC/SC border and take in Whitewater Falls. 411 feet tall. Beautiful. I have been to several falls in the area, Dry Falls is simply beautiful.

The rope at bust your butt is for people to climb up and jump off the top. In the summer, its an extremely popular (but dangerous) swimming hole.
Dry falls is amazing I bet it beautiful in the winter with ice on it what road did you start out on and the name of highway

You didn't miss much by not going to the third tier of Glen Falls, maybe 6 foot high and the best I remember it is mostly enclosed by Rhododendron and not photogenic.
