If done correctly - to a "very high standard" as per the spokesperson - and, AND the EA and Thames Water are held to account with transparent standards and monitoring data, then this is not a ridiculous idea. I live in a small town beside two swiftly running rivers - clean water is easy to find. I don't live in one of the largest cities in the world. Londoners - you need to compromise.
Surely all water from sewage plants should be treated to the highest standard!!!
I am doing my bit. I don't use tap water. I drink rain water 4 month now.

Our concern is that this will not be to a very high standard. Thames Water have a proven record or putting profit before standards unfortunately.
Except it won't be to a high standard. Thames water have shown time and again they're incapable of it and would rather pay Sarah Bentley more money.
