- VRM: Voltage regulator module, this term refers to anything from a linear regulator to a synchronous multiphase buck converter, which is a switch mode power supply, which is what your motherboard’s CPU VRM is. People also call the VRM the PWM, which isn’t correct, PWM refers to a modulation scheme or a chip, not the entire circuit, however since PWM has a catchy ring to it people still refer to the VRM as the PWM. Some others may also call the VRM a VR or a VRC(voltage regulator circuit).
PWM: Pulse Width Modulation or Modulator, this is a scheme where phases are turned on and off in a pulse like manner, it can also refer to the control chip of the VRM. The PWM control chip does everything from turn on phases to monitoring different characteristics of the VRM, the PWM is the only part of a VRM that could be considered digital in nature, however it is possible to design the PWM with analog mechanisms(which is quite easy and popular)

nice question ... cpu run power is only 1 to 2.5v but there is high AMP 45 to 75 Amp
so thats way it heat more ... ordinary 1.5 volt cell contain only 500 mili amp. current but
in cpu need 45 to 75 amp current and it will produce with high switching process ( current means number of electron)

desktop board per jo processor lagya jata hai vaha low voltage per temperature high kyo jata hai.like Core 2 Duo SU9300 per voltage 1.05-1.15 V yah rahta hai per itna kam voltage per itna gram kasa hota hai jisko tanda karna ka liya fan lagna padta hai

but i have a question about the diode between the source and drain i`s look like in normal operation it`s reverse baised and when gate opend the current find anew road to flow rather than diode
but what happed if we applied voltage that`s make the diode between source and drain forwardly baised ??
is the mosfet will act like just a wire and no need for the gate pluse and we hav no controll on it ??
yes ... true.
you didn't need gate pulse for operate it ...if you apply + supply in source and drain connected with - supply in N- channel mosfet .... but here we are using mosfet as a electronic switch so we always connect is as per my video description .and when we need to drive volt then we drive it with help of gate (on) ..
